I am the mom of two gorgeous, sweet little boys!
Over the course of changing my lifestyle, I also developed a real passion for fitness and nutrition. I hope to turn this passion into a career so that my success can continue to inspire others.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I have battled my weight on and off pretty much since I hit puberty. I have lost weight in the past but did it the unhealthy way. I would either starve myself or take diet pills, etc...and basically rush the process and expect miracles. I have FINALLY learned that to take the weight off and keep it off, it has to be done slow and healthy and informative way. I have to eat healthy foods and keep my portions under control and exercise. I now look at food as a fuel for my body rather than something to comfort myself with.
I also realized that it doesn't have to be all or nothing. I don't deprive myself but I don't go crazy either.
UPDATE: I reached my goal weight on 1/15/2009.
I had my second baby boy on September 4th, 2009. Time to get back in business! ;)
My Inspirations
- Being strong and healthy for my boys AND myself.
- Feeling good about myself so I can truly enjoy life.
- Treat myself and my body with the respect I deserve!
