I've been struggling with my weight off and on since 2006 and I've decided to finally get to a vibrant, healthy weight! I'm happily MARRIED and have 3 kids and live in NE Ohio. I started losing weight in January 2012. I joined My Fitness Pal in June 2012. I became an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor September 2013 and an ACE certified Personal Trainer November 2013!
I use a heart rate monitor, a Polar FT40, to get my calorie burn!

Why I want to get in shape
I want to get in shape to avoid obesity-related health problems and disorders. Many health issues run in my family such as heart disease and diabetes, and I want to avoid triggering these things.
Highest weight January 1st 2012: 238 pounds
Starting weight MFP June 12th 2012: 214 pounds
Lowest weight as of April 20th 2015: 178 pounds
Current weight as of June 15th 2015: 201 pounds
Goal Weight: 130 pounds
I'm 5 feet 6 inches tall.
I didn't start taking measurements until June 2012 so I don't know what they were when I was heavier prior to that. So I have actually lost more inches!
