About Me
I was born in September of 1969, had my first child at 18, got married at 19, had my second child at 20, came to Christ when I was 24. I gained most my weight with the pregnancies, but just kept packing on the pounds all these years. I can't blame the pregnancies any longer, I have to blame myself now. It's time for me to take charge of my life again and be healthy for when I have grand babies.
My husband and I are doing this together. We both have a lot to lose and I know we can do this. It has been fairly easy so far, and I have found some great recipes for us. As a matter of fact, he told me that he would have liked these recipes before we were dieting. When I am upset with anything, my husband always knows what to say to me to comfort me. He is a great man and I love him to pieces.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years and for our 20th we would like to go somewhere special, but it is hard for me to do things being the size that I am. He isn't in the best of health either and that is why we both want to get in shape. To be there for each other, and to watch each other grow old together.
My Inspirations
- Christ. If it wasn't for HIM, I wouldn't be able to do this. HE is my rock.
- Myself. I've lost it once I can do it again.
- My husband. He is always very supportive and we are doing it together.
- My kids. They are what keep me going each day.
