About Me

Hello everyone! I joined MFP about 6 months ago but I just recently decided I was at the point in my life where I was ready to do this. (putting on 10 pounds in that 6 months helped quite a bit) I have been changing my lifestyle (I hate the word diet) for about 2 weeks now and feel great about it! I have never been so motivated! I am an EMT and work in a pretty slow area so I have a lot of time to do absolutely nothing. I am the biggest boredom eater you'll ever meet. I want to get down to 190 lbs which is about 72 pound to lose. I'm almost 6' tall so 190 is a pretty good weight for me (my high school basketball weight). So far my experience here has been wonderful!


My Goals:
-Lose 15 pounds by Christmas (247)
-Lose 10 pounds by my birthday, Jan 30th (237)
-Lose 15 pounds by March 1st, Spring Break! (222)
-Lose 10 pounds by April 20th, my sister's birthday (212)
-Lose 12 pounds by July 17, our 4th anniversary (200!)
-Lose the LAST 10 pounds by September 1st (190)
***re-evaluate myself and decide if I'm happy with myself at this weight or if i would like to continue on this difficult, fantastic, incredible, painful, wonderful journey to good health and a long happy life.






Why I Want To Get In Shape

I want to be able to shop in the regular section-a lot more choices! I want to hike the Pacific Crest Trail with my husband..really intense you should look it up! Most of all, I want to lose weight to see if it will help with conception of our first baby!

My Inspirations

  • A long, healthy life!!
  • My sister!! - She lost about 70 pounds without any help!!
  • To be healthier to have that baby I'm waiting for!
  • To have my husband look at me and say "damn" : )
