About Me
I look at a 16oz steak and think 'thats how big a pound is?' its crazy to think i have that many extra steaks unnecessesarily hanging on to my body. 50 extra steaks thats a lot.
Start weight of 15st, 208lbs. Goal weight Not a Number but a figure I like but roughly based on my body fat about 11st (154lbs).
After learning a lot about nutrition this month I am going to try and eat a lot more protein than usual and complete the C25K in 9-10 weeks. My endurance has improved a lot this year but I want to feel good about myself and I'm still not there yet.
No nicotine or cigarettes since 01/08/09

Why I Want To Get In Shape
In simple terms, the mass media is a b*st*rd and i must confrom. there are too many lemmings in sociey with their own opinions on how everyone is too fat. media promotes that thinner people are more sucessful and fat people must stay out of view. its like a capital nazi-fest. rant over!
I do want to be able to do my free-running again too.
My Inspirations
- Being able to run for ages
- Waaist to chest ratio oh yes!
- If i manage this not smoking i will be super healthy
- It's just good to look good and feel good.

I haven't been on here for a while but I'm back. You look great! Congrats on the weight loss and other successful things happening in your life.
Cheers!
Hey Ben! Glad your tooth is fixed and you're back out there running! I am on Week 7 and just did a 25 minute run. I mapped it out and I ran just over 2 miles and walked 1. So, I may get to 2.5 miles with 30 minutes, but not 3 miles. I need to work on my stride / speed. :P Keep on running!
I hope your toothache goes away soon! The half marathon sounds fantastic! I may start training for one over summer, but it depends on where I am going to be in the fall (since I hope to be in graduate school). I just did W6D1 and it went pretty well. I was working on lengthening my stride so that covered some more ground today. I found a Winter 5K series. Every Sunday from December 6th - February 21st. So, that will be motivating to keep running all winter. They don't have t-shirts, but because of that the registration fee is only $5 (USD). So, not too shabby. Maybe I will run one every other week for three months. That's six out of twelve races. :D
