I joined fitness pal to maintain my current weight and to get into better shape. I used to keep track of my calories by writing them down in a note book everyday. This is so much easier!
Ive have been excercising and eating healthy for approx 18 years, ever since I had my daugher (I became a chunk when I was pregnant with her).
I like to run, bike, lift weights, hike. I have done 5ks, a couple of triathalons and 3 1/2 marathons.

March 3rd 2012 half marathon trail race - did it in 2:19 and had so much fun!!
March 31st 2012 half marathon blood gusher Midland, Texas - did in 2:13:52.
April 14th 10k (6.55 miles) Master the Mountain in Big Spring, Texas - I did it in 1:02, first place for age group!
Nov 11th 2012 rock n roll half marathon in San Antonio, Texas.
- I did it in 2:21.
Why I want to get in shape
I feel the best when I eat healthy and exercise. I have more energy and it lifts my mood (endorphins are great!)
- My husband, I want us to have a long and active life together
- My children I want to be around for them as long as I can
