About Me
I have always been active and a healthy eater, though everyone has their weaknesses. I used to be in amazing shape and then I traveled overseas and suddenly began gaining weight even though my eating habits (never really eat more than 1200 calories, don't like cooking just for myself, and don't really like meat) and exercise habits (6-7 days of cardio and weight training) didn't change. In addition to gaining weight, my muscles became really sore and I could hardly stay awake throughout the day. I began law school, which was stressful enough, but the worst part was looking in the mirror and being crushed by the fact that I had gained almost 15 pounds and couldn't do anything about it. After having every test done, the doctors still don't know what caused my metabolism and sleep cycles to just crash but they put me on a medicine that has made me feel 100% better. I am slowly losing weight now, but it has just been such an emotional and trying year and a half.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I like this site because it keeps me accountable so I make sure I eat over 1200 calories. I have been trying more to eat what I burn off in exercise but that is really hard for me. I just want to feel comfortable in my skin again.
