Russia is a nickname.

I'm a mother of two teen boys, work in a hospital and just joined the gym here (cheap at $15 a month!).
I never had a problem with weight until my early 40's. My metabolism slowed down, but my eating didn't.

Why I Want To Get In Shape

To look better.... I grew out of every cute thing I own and boy, am I pissed. I want to be in shape before I start to age to give myself an edge. Too much weight compromises health.

My Inspirations

  • I'm not too far gone yet.
  • I look at others bigger than me and think "I don't want to look like that."
  • It's bad for your heart and joints to be overweight.
  • I quit smoking, now it's time to get in shape too.
