About Me
I was skinny when I was younger, even though I always hated my body, thinking I was fat! Ha! I would swap for those "fat" days now in a second!
Slowly over the years, I gained weight. Tried a few times to get healthier, and just fell into the old bad habits.
It's difficult because my health is good. Cholesterol and blood pressure are both good, so it's almost like I am ignoring the weight issue, thinking it's not doing me any harm.
Taking my head out of the sand now!
Why I Want To Get In Shape
#1 I am 47 and it's scary that I could actually have a heart attack!
#2 Stop eating stuff like HFCS, hydrogenated oils, nitrates, and bad unpronounceable ingredients
My Inspirations
- Getting comfortable enough to share photos of myself with others online
- Not being out of breath all the time
- Feeling healthy on the inside as well as outside
