Classic yo-yo dieter. but I've managed to get back up to the wrong side of 20 stone again... (Edit : I'm now back on the correct side of 20 stone but still a long way to go...)
I'm a big stocky guy anyway so not looking to get really light - I've set my goal at 95kg for now - Ill see how I feel about that if(when) I get there.
Some years I'm really active - then other slip by without me getting much exercise at all. During those years the kgs pile back on.
I've tried low carb diets several times and they normally work well for me - my record was 5 stone lost over 9 months but when I come off the diet the weight comes back either slowly or quickly.
I've never tried a food diary and counting calories before so here we go...
Why I want to get in shape
Just want to relieve the strain im putting on my body from carrying the extra weight.
I really want to walk the Cotswold Way (the whole 100miles of it) carrying all I need on my back and wild camping along the way.
