I am well into my 30s and I am finally getting my act together mentally and physically. I work at a college and love it, and I am surrounded by young and fit young adults.
I am also a Vegetarian, so I've always been carb heavy in my diet with poor portion control. Learning how many items have carbs in them has been very eye opening and difficult to control.
Right now I'm focusing on a high protein and yoga/pilates lifestyle.
Why I want to get in shape
I've always been a big girl who struggled with her weight by eating her feelings. I'm determined to stop yo-yo dieting and sticking with a healthy active lifestyle and be happy in life. With the availability of apps out there for fitness tracking, I have no excuse to be lazy!
