About Me

I've seasawed back and forth over the years between being somewhat ok with my fitness level/waistline and being utterly upset and disgusted. I even managed to lose about thirty pounds a few years ago and get down to my target weight, only to gain it back.

I've been hitting the gyms solidly since January, 5 days a week, 1.5 hours a day every morning, plus intermittent walking throughout the day during periodic breaks.

This time I'm going to do it and I'm going to stick with it! And hopefully this site will help me.

Why I Want To Get In Shape

At the age of 30 I have Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol. In addition my family has a history of heart problems.

This is something I need to do as much for my health, but also my self-confidence and overall well-being.

  • Overall health and wellness
  • Getting in shape for NEXT summer
