About Me
Well.. where to start? I'm almost 30yrs old and was married to a waste for 10 of those. I finally realized that he was keeping my down so I lost 150lbs real quick by getting divorced! I've got 3 months.. (I started Oct first at 274lbs.. Just found this site..) to kick butt before I start back to work full time. I had my gall bladder out in April of this year and then a massive hernia fixed Sept 1st of this year. So needless to say.. it's been one HELL of a year and it finally just hit me after sitting in bed for 6 weeks after my surgery that I'm going no where..
I will NOT turn 30 over weight.. unhealthy and feeling sorry for myself.. So.. I work out 5 days a week.. 2 of those with a trainer that I LOVE.. I've got a 9 almost 10yr old son who keeps me busy on top of a BIG family and working part time.. Theres no time for self pity :)
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I could be selfish and say I'd like to get in shape for me.. and only me but I can't. My father recently suffered from a massive heart attack and now has a pace maker to keep him going and still only at 30%. The smoking and bad eating habits threw him over the top and after almost losing him.. It kinda put my future into perspective. I come from a LARGE Italian family (My mothers side) that has focused MY whole life around food gatherings.. So I'm hoping to inspire more than just myself and my son.. but my family members.
