About Me

My name is Aj. Vanity and insecurity with my body is something that crosses my mind on a daily basis. There's much more important things in life and I refuse to become a dormant statistic on bad health. When I was 17 years old as a senior in highschool, I weighed 304 lbs. I'll never forget the look of disdain on my physicians face as he read back my results. I lost 100lbs but recently hit a plateau and now I'm here to rectify the sloth. A size 34 is better than the 44 I used to be but I would prefer 28, just to be safe.

Why I Want To Get In Shape

Aside from the obvious health and physical benefits, I would like to join the military because I'm an army brat. I would like to be a father one day and be physically active with my children, giving them that stimulation that was lacking in my own childhood which contributed to my obesity. And I would like to become a role model for those who go through what I did on a daily basis. Train with them, encourage them and dish out some accountability.

Take a look at my pictures of evolution to where I'm at now compared to my "glory days" of obesity. I was 310lbs in the picture with WWE Shawn Micheals and myself in the white jacket. I was 315 in the Marley shirt. Those pictures assist me in remaining focused on my mission.

My Inspirations

• Honoring my body like a temple as the Good Lord intended it to be.
• To become active in the Military Police unit and fulfill my army ambitions
• My JCPenney card that sits unused until I get my pant size goal of 28.
• To feel rejuvenated and provide a mental cleansing to relieve any burden.
