I'm married to the love of my life and I'm the mother of a wonderful daughter (xsirenssong on MFP) I have a precious Cali girl, my Rottie/lab mix (we call her our rotten lab) that loves to walk with me and is my furry alarm clock. I also have 2 grand dogders who love me dearly. =)
I'm sure my story sounds very familiar........I want to lose 60 lbs, maybe more. I've been as heavy as 290 at one time in my life. I finally was given the "key" when I joined MFP by learning and finally accepting the fact that I must stop eating "fat free" foods that is all chemicals my body can't use.
I've lost the same 80 lbs 3 times now (the wrong way by under eating calories and exercising 7 days a week) However that's not all I lost. I lost muscle and slowed down my metabolism. Soooo, this will be the last time because I've finally figured out and learned it doesn't work depriving yourself or even going to bed hungry. I eat a bit more healthy and I exercise daily, some days cardio and some days strength training but it's not for hours on end. Moderation is key with everything.
I absolutely love Aqua Zumba and Water aerobics to get my heart pumping. This is by no means for old ladies. This is a "kick your butt, jello legged" exercise routine. Can you sweat in the water? Yes you can.
Why I want to get in shape
So I feel better
- Summer - I love sitting by any pool!!

- Less back pain and feet pain
- Be an inspiration to my beautiful daughter
