About Me
Hi, I'm Cinthy, married and have a 5yr old son. I was a literal couch potato. I didn't do any exercise for the past 8yrs or so. My life was a routine - work then home. It didn't help that I have a desk job (resting on my butt for 8hrs a day for 8 months in a year, give or take!) :(
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I have been heavy all my life, couldnt buy clothes off the rack since I was 14, custom made jeans and skirts (as I am bottom heavy). Ever since I got married, I have allowed myself to balloon from 176 lbs to a whopping 260 lbs! I never lost the pregnancy weight gained, and then I suffered a back injury which pretty much reduced most vigorous forms of exercises.
Having said all the excuses, I decided it's time for me to stop feeling sorry for myself, and start taking charge of my life ... MY LIFE!
I want to be able to play with my 5yr old son, run with him, play sports with him, and not be embarassed with my bulk bouncing left and right (graphic huh!) :)
Thanks to The Biggest Loser show, I am now more inspired to achieve my weightloss goal, and more importantly, to live a healthy lifestyle :)
Finally, I want to be able to go to any boutique and buy me a hot black sexy dress without the salesperson eyeing me.
Here are the mini goals
Goal 1 - to get down to 205 lbs (pre-pregnancy weight by March 31st 2009)
Goal 2 - to get down to 172 lbs (pre-marriage weight by June 30th 2009)
Goal 3 - to get preggers with baby no. 2 thereafter

Thanks for the add! You are doing great. I'm still in the new stage where I need to find out good eating habits bc I'll lose then I gain b/c I think its ok to go over b/c I lost some weight. I'm hoping to be preggo by end of 2010 or beginning of 2011 but I have to lose this weight b/c I have a herniated disc. Well good luck! Thanks again

Hello mam. Good job on the weight loss thus far. I see we in the same range for starting weight. Can't wait to celebrate the under 200 mark. Keep it up mam. ;>
