I am a mom of 2. I started running with couch to 5k at Easter 2011. I ran a half marathon in April 2012 and am now looking for my next challenge. As I am a slow runner I think I will stick at half marathons and below.
I needs lots of encouragement to stay away from the sweet stuff.
Why I want to get in shape
I want to get faster with my running. Taking small goals. The first to get to under 34 mins for a 5k by the end of the year.
UPDATE: I made my goal in 2012 and set myself a new one for 2013. I wanted to get below 33 mins - I smashed that too my current PB is 32:45 so I know need to get below 32:30
