I don't believe in diets, this has to fit in with my real life. That means that celebrations, chocolate, cheese and nuts all have a place - I just have to work a bit harder to earn them!
Lost 50lb mostly in 2011, but the maintenance is so hard..
The fat girl is always lurking inside though, the one who has no portion control, who comfort eats - or for any occasion really - and as soon as I stop logging the secret eating returns. So I can't see MFP not being part of my life any time soon...

Why I want to get in shape
To be fit and healthy and set a great example for my kids. This is always what it was about, not a number on a scale or on a hanger.
