Yay! 7 lbs gone! Man, this is a slow process... but at least I'm still heading in the right direction. As long as I keep losing and not gaining, I won't complain!

I joined MFP because I heard it was the easiest way (by far) to count calories. I hate calorie counting, it's my vice but at this point that is the only thing I am doing wrong. So I have to start counting because I will not let all my hard work go to waste!! I work out 1 hour a day 6 days a week, faithfully. I've been doing so since February and nothing has changed! Not a damn thing! So calorie counting here I come...
You know what they say, losing weight is 80% nutrition, 10% genetics, 5% commitment & 5% exercise. Or maybe that's what I say...
In my picture gallery you'll find pictures of me as well as my celebrity inspirations, Beyonce, JLo, etc (for letting the world know that REAL women have curves). Don't be fooled by my pics though, I'm still a long way away from my goals. My problem lies in the upper body; the abdominal area and the back fat. I hide it very well in certain clothes but I am sick of hiding. I want to be able to wear anything I want without over analyzing it from every angle. That's why I'm bringing my "A" game (doing P90X) and melting off the last 25 or so pounds once and for all!!
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I want to become a personal trainer and dietitian, so I not only "want" I "need" to be healthy and physically fit. I have to be the perfect picture of health if I'm going to inspire it in others. I believe good health starts with what you put in your mouth (nutrition) and what you do for your body physically (exercise).
My Inspirations
- A healthier lifestyle & setting an example for my siblings and parents.
- Wearing anything I want w/o worrying how my stomach or back fat looks in it.
- I want to fit into my old size 5 jeans again, I still have all 20 pairs...
- All the others who've reached their goals by being committed!

I checked your blog out. That's pretty cool. Didn't even know we had that til you told me. How have things been with your diet & exercise latly? I am slowly re-motivating myself to get back on track. I'll get there. Well, ttyl.
