About Me

Im a college sophmore trying to lose 75lbs i've gained since i lost about 25lbs before my senior year. I've been using MFP since march and as you can see, have lost 18lbs. It seems like alot, but not compared to how much i want to lose and is especially disappointing in relationship to the amount of effort and time i feel i've put into this. But i'm happy to have accomplished as much so im guna keep goin til i get there, no matter how long it takes. im eating 1300 cals a days and work out for an hour (burn 600 calories) which is 3 days a week and 1200 on days i work out for 20min (burn 200calories) which is 3 days a week. then on the day i dont workout i eat 1200 as suggested. This is less than what MFP suggests at 1200 a day (so 1800 calories when i burn 600) but when i first started i thought i would lose weight quicker by eating less, and now when i eat the suggested amount i gain weight :/ - but its okay, im satified. its been really hard, but i keep myself going by reading pro-anorexia websites, i knowwwwww sounds crazy, and yes some tips are quite scary, about how to trick others into thinking your eating, but no ones worried about me in that sense! haha! and there are some great tips to help burn extra cals if you went over a bit, or if your craving something, to keep your mind off of it; drinking ice cold water can burn up to 40cals, eat what you crave but only in moderation, only a few bites, put the money you would spend on a meal in a jar and watch it grow, only allow yourself an alcoholic drink when you lose a pound, eat lots of fiber it fills you up, dont take extra money with you when you go out so you cant buy food, drink lots of green tea and drink 2 tbsp. of unfiltered applecider vinegar before each meal(like fergie!) it speeds up your metabolism, plan your day so you dont discover afterwards that you've gone over your calorie limit, eat your fattiest meal in the morning so you can burn the calories off during the middle of that day...ect. my mantra is hunger hurts but starving works! Besides all that diet stuff, im a print journalism major at a college in nyc, im really lazy, i love dark chocolate and gossip, i love my biddies, im great at giving advice, and by the way my name is Kerry, good luck everyone!

Why I Want To Get In Shape

loose the "freshman 15" + 60, and some additional pounds til im that kind of skinny that when im walking down the street people say 'Give the girl a sandwhich!' JK!!

  • all the cute clothes i could wear
  • so my grandmother will stop telling me that boys dont like fat girls LOL
  • so i can stop this horrific diet and stay skinny forever!
