About Me
I am a 24 year old who has always been heavy. Not "fat" but "heavy" as my parents called it. I lost a lot of weight about 2 years ago and after I was married a year ago, my husbad and I became "lazy" and "comfortable." So, needless to say, we both gained a LOT of weight putting me at the most I've ever been. So, I decided that it was time to do something about it. I started MFP last year November and was successful until Spring Break this past March where I totally fell off the wagon and haven't been able to climb back on since! So...I am now determined to get back to it and lose all the extra weight before my cousin's wedding next year July (2009). So...here I go!!!!!
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I want to be more healthy overall. I feel that I have struggled with my weight my entire life and would love to feel better about myself. After I got married, I wasn't worried about impressing people, so now it's all for me! Someday I would love to have children and be an active mother which is a longer term goal. I have two very active dogs which I would love to spend more time running around with. And I would love to feel more comfortable in a swim suit! So, these are just a few of the reasons that I would like to get in shape!
Goals:
--Cardio at least 5 times a week for a half hour
--Weights at least 2 times a week for an hour
--Multivitamin EVERY day!
Rewards:
After losing 10 pounds--new running shoes!! (I need them)
After losing 17 pounds (half way point)--Spinning shoes
After losing 25 pounds--some new workout clothes
After losing 34 pounds (GOAL!!!)--a cute new outfit (shopping at Vanity) and a night out dancing!!
Then it's on to maintaining the new me!!!
