About Me

I've been happily married for just over a year, and graduated from college about 2 years ago. Currently working full time in the banking industry. In my free time I love to watch movies, play games,hang out with family, bowling, going to sporting events, and much more! I'm a home-body, so I love renting a movie and making some homemade (and healthy) pizza! I love cooking and eating new things and finding new and healthy recipes! My husband is amazing, and we are so simliar, we LOVE the same things! We both love sports and being active. However, he likes football a little more than I do. All that testosterone! I try to be really girly sometimes. :)

I have ALWAYS been active. I love to exercise, and it never stopped, even when I gained weight-- I just wasn't keeping track of what I ate, so I gained weight. I love teaching kickboxing, and I love to run. I have taught kickboxing classes at the local college to small groups of people, and I love giving tips about exercising (although I'm not a professional). Being a teacher/mentor in exercise was my favorite thing to do, hands down. I just wish I could be better at changing my eating habits.

I've wanted to lose weight for the past year, but I always said it, and didn't act. Now I have the true determination and this is something I WANT! So I am determined to eat healthier! I've never been "skinny", nor will I ever be, thats just my body type. I love my curves, I just want to be healthy!

Why I Want To Get In Shape

I feel so great, energetic, and confident when I am in shape. My clothes fit better, my attitude about life is better, and my relationship with my husband is better! I don't ever want to get to the point that I don't have my curves, but I feel that there is a certain weight that is healthy for ME, ME, ME at 5'7".....

Starting Weight 09/07/09: 176 (heaviest I've EVER been)

Current Weight 11/12/09: 165 (size 12)

First Goal Weight 12/31/2009: 159 (size 10)--finally be back to the 150's!

Second Goal Weight 04/01/2009: 150 (And NOT an April Fool's joke!)

Second Goal Weight 06/31/2010: 140 (size 8)

Third Goal: Maintenance

My Inspirations

  • My amazing husband! He's so supportive of my health decisions! Love him!
  • My future children- I want to be healthy when I decide to start my family.
  • My "skinny" jeans! Oh How I want to pull 'em out of the box they are in!
  • All my MFPers with SUCCESS!

Keep up the good work girl! Don't get the Holiday blahs like most people do! The holidays is just another celebration (Nov, Dec, and Jan). WILL POWER!

Thanks for insight. The day I asked about the calorie thing the site was screwed up and was doubling everyone's workout cals. I knew I should have worked out that day would have been awesome to see big numbers without breaking a sweat hehehe . I changed my goals to 1 lb a week and only got 1330 sad . Oh well much better that 1200 lol.

thnx for the motivation! I have kicked my butt in gear and have been going to the gym. Tues was my first body pump class (lots of weights n stuff) yesterday I didnt circuits for chest and shoulders with my bf. Today I think I'll ease off the weights and focus on cardio. So maybe spinning or the elliptical!
