Current Weight: 169ish (it varies)
Goal Weight: Whatever makes me skinny
Needed to desperately get in shape to be able to keep up with my special needs son. He's 4 1/2, and he's a ball of energy at times. I also was tired of being fat.
I started running last May and found I really really love it, and that's helped motivate me.
Not to long after joining this site, I met the woman who would become my fiance ChristineMarie89....she keeps me motivated and grounded and I couldn't ask for more.
Now she's relocating and moving in, so I will have 3 kids to try to keep up with. Staying healthy and exercising will set a good example for my son and her two girls, and will hopefully give me the energy to keep up!
Besides all that I'm pretty grounded, have my opinions, which undoubtedly will differ from almost everyone, but won't hold that against you ;)
Sometimes my posts are random, have nothing to do with fitness, or can even come off as being insensitive or being a hard ass. I come from a "tough love" school, and sometimes people just need that. It's not that I don't care, it's just another way to motivate.
Currently trying to train for a Marathon in September, if not that then a 1/2 Marathon in October to try and beat my old time :)
Why I want to get in shape
Be able to keep up with 3 kids and an awesome fiance
1/2 Marathon Complete in 2:13:05..not happy about it, but I beat my original goal of 2:30:00...that goal was set before I was consistently running over 10:00 miles...I'm now closer to 9:00 consistently.
