I'm 35, married for 5 years, and a mother of a teenager! Yikes! I'm from Oregon, but moved to Florida 10 years ago. My family loved it in Florida, but it was time to come home, so we are now back in Oregon.
Workouts include PiYo, tabata training, running, weight lifing, trail running, T25, and Insanity. AND NOW Crossfit! Woohoo!!
UPDATE! As of April I am now a Beach Body coach! Hoping I can help inspire and motivate others!
9/4/11 Finished my 1st half marathon!! 2:57:07
3/25/12 Finished my 2nd half marathon!! 2:36:01 PR!!!

Why I want to get in shape
Its been a little up and down for me. I was 18 when I had my daughter and didn't lose the weight until three years later when I went thru a divorce. I was back down to my prebaby weight again. But I wasn't fit and healthy. Then a couple years later, I met my new hubby, and we both packed on the pounds. Now we are completely out of shape, I'm worried about his health, and we are trying to have a baby. I want to get healthy and not gain a ton of weight again when I get pg. Plus, I just don't feel good about myself like this.
2012: 1.5 years and 57lbs later, I feel great! And am working towards my goal, another 8ish lbs to go! Also, now my hubby is on board and trying to get healthy too!
2013: Still have about 8lbs to lose, but this year I'm focused on building musle and getting stronger. BF% is what I'd like to see go down, not so much worried about the actual weight number. I'm in a healthy weight range now. When I started 57lbs ago I was considered OBESE. Funny, I never felt obese, just a little too fluffy around the middle! lol :-) And super tired all the time. I never wanted to do anything after work but sit on the couch. But I feel great now! I can't wait to get off work so I can hit the gym or go for a run. My family is very supportive, and I have built some great relationships on MFP. My other goal this year is to have a baby, so if that happens, it will be less worry about muscle, and more concerned with a safe and healthy pregnancy. I want to stay fit and healthy!
2014: Well I'm up about 10 lbs from last year, so now I'm working on building muscle and lowering my BF%. My body is at a healthy happy weight, so its being very stubborn about dropping.
I've also decided to become a Beachbody coach! I want to be able to help other people become as healthy and happy as I am!
