About Me
I can'remember a time I wasn't 'on a diet' (sad but true). I've lost weight twice but it always went back on. I was doing high carb/low fat, then I tried South Beach which worked but I got fed up with the restrictions. Now I'm watching the calories and trying to get a balanced diet. I've also just joined a gym (to do the exercise classes) and am strangely addicted! I joined MyFitnessPal due to a recommendation from a member of a South Beach forum and think it's great!
Why I Want To Get In Shape
Because I've been trying to lose weight most of my life. I want 2008 to be the year I finally get to goal (I'm nearly there!) and stay there! I also want to improve my fitness and actually come to enjoy exercise.
My Inspirations
- I want to buy lots of new clothes!
- I desperately need to buy some new underwear!
- I'm newly single so this is a great opportunity to concentrate on myself.
- I want to learn how to eat healthily for the REST OF MY LIFE!
