About Me

I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition counselor. I took a desk job for the money (hey, gotta do what 'cha gotta do) and have always used nutritional and fitness/exercise tracking software with my clients and myself. Unfortunately they wont let me upload my software onto my office computer (geeezzz! what-eva!) so I search the web for something similar I could use durring the day. This works out perfect. Because I now work while sitting on my but the whole day (very difficult change btw) I am having to make adjustments in my routine. This site definatly is helpful and I am glad there are some other fitness nuts on here too.

Why I Want To Get In Shape

Fortunately I have not seen any huge changes since I have been at a desk job, but I know that my body will soon need more attention as before I had the ability to work out when ever I wanted. All day. :(
My goal is to document dietary changes and strength routine and cardio changes I make in order to maintain. I know it wont be easy to maintain the level I am at now. I worked with clients all the time who complained about sitting on their arse all day and how it has affected their core muscles, strength, cardio ability, and stress levels. I am terrified of the winter when it gets dark at 5 and I'll have to go home without running in the sun at least for a few minutes a day. Gasp....

  • I refuse to get a flat bottom
  • I worked too hard to lose it
  • dreaded "winter-extra-flab"
  • My client "now you'll shrink two inches and grow two inches around!"
