My weight loss graph is not updating correctly.
If your total weight loss is not showing correctly on your app's progress graph, the most likely cause is that your starting weight has not been set correctly, or that you have accidentally entered a check-in weight that is way out of range.
You can change your starting weight, or any weight entry, by logging into your account on our website at http://www.myfitnesspal.com. Use the same username and password that you use to login to the app. Once you've logged in, go to the "My Home" tab, then click "Check-in", then "Edit previous entries". On that page, you can change your starting weight to the correct value.
Once your starting weight is correct, the app should show your correct weight loss on your profile once you've synced the app with the site.
How do I completely close the iPhone or iPad app?
To completely close the app, first leave the app by pressing the hardware Home button (the circle with the white square inside of it).
Then, double-click the hardware Home button. A row of application icons should appear on the bottom of the screen. Scroll through them and find MyFitnessPal, then hold your finger on the icon until the icons start to jiggle and a "-" appears. Tap on the "-" to completely close the app.
My exercise calories are not calculating correctly.
If your calories burned for an exercise seem incorrect, this could be due to an accidental weight entry. We recommend double checking your weight entries
You can do so by logging into our website at http://www.myfitnesspal.com. Sign into the members log in area, using the same username and password as you do with the app.
Once you've logged into your account, go to "My Home", then "Check-in", then "Edit Previous Entries". On that page, you can view or change your weight entries. Once the entries have been corrected, the next time your app syncs to the website, this change should be reflected and your exercise calories burned should be corrected.
I have not been receiving emails I expect from MyFitnessPal.
When logged in to the site at www.myfitnesspal.com you may select the kinds of emails you'd like MyFitnessPal to send. Just click My Home > Settings > Change email address/email preferences
If you are not receiving the emails from MyFitnessPal that you have selected, one likely cause is that at one point our email to you may have bounced back to us.
To resume receiving emails, visit the preferences area mentioned above, and temporarily change your email address to a different email address. Save the changes, then change the email address back to your preferred email address and save the changes again.
I receive an error when I attempt to find Facebook friends.
If you have the Facebook app installed on your iOS device, please update it to the latest version by visiting the App Store app and tapping Updates. Older versions of the Facebook app will return an error if the Find my Friends using Facebook feature of MyFitnessPal is tapped.
