About Me
I'm 31 yrs old divorced, mother of a beautiful 6 years old daughter. I'm 5'9 with a big build. I work a full time job and like a lot of people, barely get by.
I struggle to stay on a good eating plan. Its always easier to pick up something after work. It's also cheaper. I'm not consistant enough with my exercise either. I gained five pounds back. I see it in my gut. So, back to tracking my food intake and trying to exercise regulary.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
All the women in my family are over weight and have diabetes. I want to loose weight to lower my risk of getting it too.
My Inspirations
- Watching the "Biggest Loser" and knowing that if they can do it, so can I.

It's so true that a person can be thin and not even be healthy. I grew up in SoCal where it was SO important to be skinny as a rail....yet I at fast food all the time as a teenager. Now, I look back at my eating habits with al the sweet treats and crapola...and I wonder why I haven't killed over from a heart attack. Yet, I'm fairly thin. Hmmmm.....healthy is much more important than 'thin' because we all have different body types, frames, sizes, etc.
You are so right. Being skinny doesn't mean you are healthy! =)
