My husband is wonderfully supportive! He's my best friend and knows me better than I know myself.
I have stopped cardio on the recommendation of my weight lifting partner and husband. I used to get up at 5:30 in the morning for a 3 mile "hike" on the treadmill at a 15% incline. NO more!! (March,26) All that cardio was making me soooo hungry....all day and it was insatiable. I am now sleeping till 7 (heavenly), getting everyone ready for their day, and then go and lift.
I do one body part a day (legs, shoulders, arms, chest, and back) We do half an hour of abs twice a week--not on leg day!! LOL
In the week and a half since STOPPING cardio, I have lost almost 5 pounds! Maybe it's just a fluke, but I'm not STARVING and I'm able to eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full. Makes it a lot easier to eat healthy when I'm not always fixating on food. I use a fitbit ONE, and burn anywhere from 300-600 calories on average just from normal activity. If I'm hungry I will most definitely eat those back.
Weekends are very very hard for me....don't judge. I usually don't even log. Always back on track Monday morning.
