About Me
Hello all! I am 30 yrs old and a new mom! I'm so very proud of my daughter and I love her to pieces! I married my wonderful husband in March of '08 and was trying to be healthier around that time. I was probably around 160lbs and just wanted to get back into shape. I had started to exercise more then found out that I was pregnant, and as we all know it can be a little hard to exercise when you have a queasy stomach most of the time. I gained 40 lbs during my pregnancy and touched 200lbs on the scale. Soon after my daughter was born I lost 25 lbs. Now she's 5 1/2 mos and I've lost another 5lbs and am holding steady at 170. My goal weight is 140lbs, and I have to say that it is a little scary for me because I haven't had to think of actual weight loss before. I'm a nurse and work part-time in the evenings and keep my daughter during the day. I learned about this site from a friend, and I am loving it! Especially how it makes me think of WHAT I am eating and what goes into the food that I eat. I am confident that my goal can be met and I'm excited about it!
Why I Want To Get In Shape
So my new baby girl will have a happy, healthy mom to look up to and learn healthy habits from!
My Inspirations
- I just turned 30 and want to be healthier and a good example to my daughter.

I know what you mean, I wear my hubby's T's as well, and I watch What Not to Wear all the time. I used to laugh at the people on there, and now I could EASILY be nominated to be on the show!! Good luck to you, I know you'll be able to reach your goals :)
