I had BPD/DS surgery on 10.1.08 and have lost roughly 140 pounds since then. I hit a "stall" for about 2 years and then started here on MFP in March 2011 to start counting carbs and generally track nutrition and exercise. I broke the stall and lost about 25 pounds which has begun to creep back since I've relaxed my carbs restrictions. (9.14.11)
UPDATE, 1/24/13: Yeah, pretty much put all those 25 back on in the course of a year. Up, down, back, forth.
Why I want to get in shape
I'd like to get my BMI to "normal," which means losing about 25 pounds. I know what I need to do, just need to do it! I already feel like I can pass for "normal" as far as how I look, I just like having a goal to work towards.
- Being a father for as much of my son's life as possible
- To be physcially fit and active and a good example to my son
- Any pictures of me taken 4+ years ago
