I lift and I eat over 1800, but I don't log food every day, I don't have a "goal weight" and I don't comment on every status every day. If you need a personal cheerleader every time you're under your calorie goal, I'm not the person for you. I like to add people with similar interests - lifting, hiking, being outdoors, eating a balance of food, moms. I can take sarcasm and non-PC humor ;)
I am a 42-year old mom of two. I've always been in pretty good shape; I was very athletic in college and for a few years afterward. I've stayed active, but I want to exercise more consistently. I completed P90x in March, then started Stronglifts 5x5.
My current maxes as of July 26, 2013
Squat - 165 (1x5)
OHP - 95 (1RM)
DL - 200 (1x5)
I love hiking in the mountains whenever I get the chance and enjoying the outdoors.
Why I want to get in shape
I was really athletic in the past. I'm still in good shape and go through spurts of working out a lot, then burn out and take it easy for a few months. I want to get better about just exercising more consistently and getting my muscles back. I can definitely keep weight off easily when I lift and have more muscle.
- Setting a good example for my kids.
- Getting my awesome arm muscles back!
- Having clothes shopping be fun again ;)
