About Me
Hi! I'm 24 years old, a newly wed (October 08) and recent college graduate (May 09)! I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
I come from a family of totally built men and overweight women. Not fair! I've always been overweight-even as a young kid. I'd love to finally be able look in a mirror and LOVE what I see!
Here's a look at how I eat/exercise:
(7:30 am) breakfast: Special K and milk, toast and orange juice, banana and fruit juice, etc.
(10:-00 am) snack: slimfast
(12:30 pm) lunch: salad w/ low fat dressing, some fruit or an Archer Farm's (Target brand) fruit strip and crystal light
(4:30 pm) snack: Archer Farm's fruit strip or an apple, orange, etc.
(7:30 pm) dinner: Tuesdays/Thursdays are vegetarian night. We have brown rice and steamed veggies, etc. Other nights we mostly have chicken cooked on the George Foreman, backyard grill, or oven and some vegetables. I drink water for every meal except breakfast.
I also exercise twice a day. I use a Wii Fit for 30 minutes (not a hard workout at all) and then I walk briskly for 30 minutes after dinner. I try to walk a 17-18 minute mile.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
* Break the cycle! I come from a long line of overweight women.
* Want to do all I can to ensure having healthy pregnancies when that time comes!
* I want to able to shop somewhere other than Lane Bryant and the outlet stores that carry bigger sizes!
