Stress and weight
I never realized how much stress has an effect personally on my weight. Not just that it causes me to eat. For 2 weeks my weight has been up 1-3 pounds. I know part of it was starting 30 Day Shred and the different strain on my muscles. But in these 2 weeks I have stressed over that gain, over my moms disability hearing and my husbands worsening anxiety.
Yesterday my mom had her disability hearing and it seemed to go well. The woman said that obviously information had been ovelooked and almost cried listening to all my mom has been through. Wewill know for sure in 2 weeks but for now it looks very positive. Also yesterday my husband met with a counselor. We seem to have an answer for what is triggering his anxiety, He seems to have Hypoglycemia, and when he gets those feelings of low blood sugar they are exactly like an anxiety attack. But when he starts to feel them his first thought is an attack is starting then thats all he can think about. So it turns into a real attack. This would explain why his meds are suddenly not helping. And after quitting smoking his body also no longer gets false signals to release insulin caused by the nicotine.Explains why it got worse after quitting. We are very hopeful that with a regular eating schedule and snacks rather than not eating until late afternoon he can get this under control.
Now back to my point. I am not stressing, feel better than I have mentally in weeks. This morning I am down 1.4 pounds. Just like that. I let go of the stress and my body let go of the water it was holding onto. Now if I can just get my blood pressure regulated things will be great.
