→ Yacon Syrup: Effortless, Fast Weight Loss?

Recently featured on The Dr. Oz Show1, and touted as a metabolism game-changer, yacon syrup is the latest craze to sweep over the nation, providing weight loss and health benefits, as well as boosting metabolism, wellness and energy.

Yacon Syrup for Weight Loss

Yacon syrup continues to gain popularity and weight loss results, making it a major competitor for the most popular supplement of 2014. Even though we're still at the start of the year, time will tell how popular yacon syrup gets.

Yacon syrup has been proven to burn fat faster, but actually isn't all that new. This weight loss syrup, extracted from a root, has been used as a part of the Peruvian diet for hundreds, possibly even thousands of years.

Word has now got to the United States, thanks to outlets like the news, media and the Internet. The average weight loss for yacon syrup weight loss is about 4-5 pounds in 4 weeks, which can be improved upon by changing your diet and adding exercise.

The easiest way to incorporate yacon syrup into your diet is to find an organic supplement in syrup form. This natural, organic mixture has been proven to boost metabolism, especially in women, resulting in faster weight loss of that yucky body fat.

Following the right plan and staying on track are two of the biggest keys to any weight loss goals. Incorporating yacon syrup into your diet in 2014 could be the easiest way to stoke the fires of your metabolism, resulting in quicker, more consistent weight loss.

The Yacon Syrup Project Study

For those of you that didn't see the Dr. Oz episode where he featured yacon syrup, I'll go ahead and fill you in. Basically, Dr. Oz took 60 different women from all walks of life and did a short weight loss study using yacon.

He asked each woman to take yacon syrup with or before each meal they ate throughout the day (which broke down to breakfast, lunch and dinner for most women). Besides this change, they were asked to keep the rest of their diet the same.

The results? 28 women (nearly 75%) lost weight, 14 women lost five pounds or more, and the average weight loss was nearly three pounds (wow). For simply adding yacon syrup to their diet (and presumably boosting their metabolism and improving digestion), we knew we had to cover this awesome supplement and help spread the word.

Where Can I Buy Yacon Syrup?

Due to all of the questions we've received about where to buy yacon, we've included our simple review of one of the hottest organic, natural yacon syrup products on the market right now, it's called Yacon Molasses - to try it out now, click on the "Click Here While Supplies Last" button, and you can get started on your weight loss challenge today.

By making the right diet choices, including yacon syrup in your arsenal of weight loss tools, and planning out your journey, let's make 2014 the year you meet and sustain your weight loss goals - we've had dozens of clients do the very same thing over the years, let's make this your year!

What Does Yacon Taste Like?

We get this question a lot, so I wanted to make sure to cover it in this blog post for you. Most yacon syrup products have a taste similar to caramelized sugar, or molasses (hence the name of the product we recommend above).

This is why many FitPal members have recommended using the supplement for sweet tooth cravings, as well as weight loss. The antioxidant profile is fantastic, making it a great weight loss product all around.

When Was Yacon Featured on Dr. Oz?

Yacon syrup was featured on the Dr. Oz Show in November of 2013, after the show and staff conducted a study that found many benefits surrounding this awesome extract.

When conducted, the study showed nearly 75% of women lost weight, with the average weight loss being about 3 pounds over the course of 4 weeks. Surprisingly, some even lost up to 5 pounds or more, which is fantastic for monthly results.

Now, don't let this fool you though. You should always decide for yourself, even when you see a product featured on a popular show. Doing your own research and ultimately forming your own opinion is the key to success.

Please note: by recommending Yacon Molasses, we do get paid a commission. However, this does not influence our actual suggestion and review of the product itself. Changing up your diet and adding health supplements is always the best route for ongoing weight loss success.

Are these available in tablets or only in liquid?

I've heard the yacon syrup liquid is much more effective than tablets - but, hey, feel free to try both or just choose one, I know I've been happy with the diet so far!

Hey there, this is Coach Rick (the author of this post) - while we've been receiving a bunch of questions, the biggest by far is where to buy yacon syrup... because of that, I've included a short review of a yacon product called Yacon Molasses. It's the more natural liquid form, which seems to be best for weight loss and taste. If you're looking to give yacon syrup a try, we'd recommend you buy this product and work it into your current weight loss strategy. Enjoy and happy weight loss in 2014 and beyond!

coach rick, would you recommend making any specific diet changes, or changing exercise routine while using yacon?

Hi there, before making any other changes to your diet or exercise plan, I'd recommend getting started with a yacon syrup supplement and beginning to use it along with all of your meals. It will help your digestion of food and should boost your energy as well as your metabolism. From there, you can decide what else to add or change within your schedule, based on your fitness goals - best of luck!

Because I do product reviews through Tomoson.com, I just got accepted to try out & review some of this syrup. I hope it works because I've been trying to find something to replace the brown sugar I use in my coffee and foods. I've been trying Truvia (not good) & Stevia (better), but if this yacon syrup mimics the richer molasses flavor of brown sugar AND helps me lose weight... Oh boy.

we've heard some yacon syrup supplements are running low on their stock, due to the popularity of the root and extract being so popular for weight loss right now

so if you have the chance, we recommend giving the product a try and stocking up if it makes sense for your weight loss goals - best of luck!
