Motivating via NSV!

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

This has been a busy weekend, but life in general has gotten busy too.  I added another day in the gym, started doing more cross fit sessions, picked up the intensity of my workouts and have made an effort to eat cleaner than ever!  Oh and did I mention my social circle has been expanding, lol

Unfortunately today clean eating slipped away due to eating breakfast out, Bloody Mary's with a friend, a graduation party then deciding to clean out the fridge for dinner, but I digress  :)

Since I started on MFP I have collected my stats every month and taken photo's to measure my success.  This month I lost some more body fat to reach 29.1% overall, which represents a loss of 12.8% in 9 months.  I also lost 2" in my chest measurement AND found that I actually now have a relaxed & flexed measurement on my Biceps!

A fun NSV I realized the last week is that all of the shorts I bought at the beginning of the season are now to big, so I am buying new ones as I see them on clearence for NEXT year.

I also bit the bullet and bought 4 new pairs of pants for work, seeing as one of the owners had a great laugh this week over how baggy the pants I bought in February had become.

Now on to the details of the week:

Diet
Net calories under 1750  - 7 out of 7
16 glasses of water or more - 7 out of 7
Carb Macro 29% / 30% goal
Fat Macro 29% / 30% goal
Protein Macro 42% / 40% goal

Exercise
Strength/Cardio routine - 6 out of 7 days
Minutes working out for the week - 693 / 300 goal
Calories burned for the week - 6107 / 3500 goal
100 Ab Crunches/Extensions w/ 280lb resistance - 3 out of 3 days
Run Distance: 5.15 miles
Run Time: 1:04:00 min
Bike Distance: 32.50 miles
Bike Time: 2:13:00 min
Total Time: 3:17:00 min

Weight Loss
This week = -1.4 pounds
Since joining MFP 10/3/11 = -83.8 pounds
Since finally being sick of my weight 1/26/11 = -112.8 pounds

Positives for the week
Picked up my intensity working out, met my new average heart rate goals
Found that when I plan out my day, I have much better success
Finished up a couple projects at work
I survived my BFF being gone for a week
Greg's golf tips helped my game!

Things to learn from for the week
I have a lot to learn about a lot of stuff
After 25 years of trying to understand women, I came to the conclusion I am clueless!  I am just going to wait until I reach goal to actively look for a relationship.  If something happens, it happens, but no more losing sleep over it!

I also love your weekly review style - in the spirit of sharing I hope you don't mind if I borrow that!

Thanks.

Good luck with the warrior dash and bike tour :)
