Bringing Sexy Back Part 2
Below is a blog I wrote over a month ago. I just wanted to update you on the progress of Operation 'Bringing Sexy Back'. LOL. I mentioned the dress was from Le Chateau...I was wrong...it was from the GAP...so sorry GAP. I also mentioned that my goal was to get the dress out of the closet by my next week of holidays this month. Well, I got the dress out, tried it on...it's too tight around my rib cage area. : ( Good news is, it's a size 8, and it fits through the hips and waist, just not around my ribs and bust. I did get the zipper up, but I can't pull it up to where it should be. So, I won't be wearing it on my holidays next week.
Even though that particular dress does not fit, does not mean I have not brought Sexy Back back. I am going to brag a little right now... My back is looking very good. I have been working hard to Bring Sexy Back. In the blog below I noted that I was doing the 30 Day Shred and I was on Day6 Level 1. Since then I have completed the 30DS and now I am working hard on another Jillian Michaels workout, Ripped in 30.
Ripped in 30 is tough. I found week 1 not too bad. I am now on Day 3 of week 2...HOLY HAMSTRINGS. It feels great though. My back is looking even better now. I will post some pictures soon and you can let me now what you think.

Bringing Sexy Back Part 1
So before I was pregnant with the first of my two children, I was in okay shape. I was teaching spin classes at the time as well as taking part in some other fitness classes at the gym. I remember buying this halter top dress from Le Chateau, and admiring how my back looked in it, it looked GOOD. Well, that dress has been hanging in my closet for 7 years now. It's about time to BRING SEXY BACK. I may not be ready this week for that dress, BUT I will be wearing it this summer, for sure. I have another week of holidays coming up in August, so I will make that my goal to get that halter out of the closet.
Since starting with MFP, which it has been 1 month today, I have lost 12 lbs, plus approximately 14 inches off my body all over. All thanks to eating better, spinning, yoga, the 30 Day Shred(completed Day 6 level 1 so far), Yoga Meltdown and other various workouts, plus the support from my MFP friends. Also, I have been drinking lots and lots and lots of WATER.
I can see my body changing through my journey to a healthier version of ME. Change is GREAT! I am feeling better and in result, I am starting to look better too. I am focused on my end goal. I WILL bring sexy BACK. I will post pictures once I hit the halter dress.
