Track More Nutrients And Time Zones

Two quick updates to the site:

  • Track more nutrients: A lot of members have said they'd like to track more than 4 nutrients on your food diary, so I recently added the ability to track up to 6 nutrients.  To change the nutrients displayed in your food diary, just click on the "Food" tab, then click on "Settings."  You can change the nutrients you'd like displayed on your food diary on this screen.

Also, remember that you an always click on the "View Full Report" button at the bottom of your diary to see a version of your diary with the full list of nutrients that we track.

  • Change your time zone: For our international users, it's always been a bit of a pain to log your foods because the default date on your diary would often be incorrect due to the time zone difference with our site.  So today, I added the ability to change your time zone - just go to "My Home", then click on "Settings", then "Change time zone."  No more clicking the date arrows!
As always, if you experience any issues with the new features, just let me know either by commenting on this post or in the forums.  I try to do as much testing as I can before releasing a new feature, but there's a pretty good chance that I missed something, so any bugs you let me know about are always greatly appreciated.

Thanks, and hope you are enjoying the site!

I just found this website and am going to recommend it to everyone. Thank you for this website it will help me obtain my goal and it makes me think. On the exercise part I use a pedometer to track my walking. You have it by minutes will there be a time when you have it just by steps to calculate the calories?

Anyway, FANTASTIC SITE!!!!!!

Hi Mike...is there a way to track points? Maybe add a blank column that we can fill in or a Misc nutrient.

Hi Mike,
This is a great website and by following calorie counting has benefited me greatly. Others at my work have started using it as well.
One thing, would it be possible to track all nutrients at one time...like on another page as opposed to the six that are on the food page, becauase I usually put in 6, change them to another 6 and so on until I see all of them...just a thought, I am sure that you are as busy as anybody.
Keep up the great work,
Thanks

Thanks for the app Mike! Can you add the ability for us to track Vitamin D? My counts are always low and it would be great to see how much I'm taking in every day.

Thanks again!
