Android Beta Test — Looking for Volunteers

We've heard a lot of requests for updates to the Android app, and we’ve been hard at work to accommodate those requests. Now, we’re looking for a limited group of avid MyFitnessPal Android users to try out the Beta version of our latest Android app and share their experiences with us.

What's in it for me?
This is a unique opportunity for you to gain priority access to the newest version of MyFitnessPal before it becomes publicly available. You will also play a critical role in shaping the development of our Android app and ensuring that it meets your needs and the needs of your fellow members.

What do I need to do to sign up for the beta test?
All you need to do is fill out this form; we’ll take it from there. This is a limited beta test, and there is a chance you won’t be selected. With that said, we will do our best to give priority to those who respond first. And for those of you who don’t get selected, please don’t be disappointed. You can rest assured that this is coming soon to a phone near you!

Is there anything else I should know?
Anyone with an Android device can apply, but if you are accepted, please be prepared to answer a few questions about your experience with the app (i.e. give us your opinion about the application, and let us know of any bugs/crashes that you encounter).

So go ahead and sign up today. We’ve got some exciting changes in store for you, and we’re eager to hear what you think.

We look forward to working with you!

your form doesn't work.

Worked for me. It's a standard Google form.

Link worked for me and I was even on phone.

Link worked for me. Think there should have been an area for comments/reasons why you would make a good beta tester......JMHO

I was able to open it and fill it out. I used FireFox browser. Maybe it's just certain browsers are having a problem?

I'd be interested in testing a beta app for Android tablets. Unfortunately it doesn't look like this version will be supporting them.

Worked for me! Can't wait to see what updates the beta will have...

I downloaded the old app and it sucked my battery dry and my phone was hot. I pass on the beta.

I don't think I'd have time to participate in the beta testing, but I'm excited to see an update. I do not like current MFP Android app because it takes forever to update each time I log in.

Managed to fill in form - FYI - my app sticks on "synchromising data" a lot of the time which is frustrating, I have just started my journey with MFP and am really into it but would like to iron this blip with app..

Not working for me -- but I would love to participate

Wow - That closed quick :( Shame as I'm a pro mobile app tester and would love to help test an app for a site I love.

Closed already?! I like the current app just fine, but I'd love to see some of the full site options, like editing goals and participating in forums.

I'd love to test a windows phone app! Especially if it would add in the front page (as if you were viewing from the web) and forums!

I religiously use this all day long, every day. Too bad it closed so fast.

I've used the app almost every day for 2 years and it takes almost a dozen clicks just to add a quick snack of things I eat frequently!

1. Open MyFitnessPal
2. Click "Add To Diary"
3. Click "Afternoon Snack"
4. Click "Frequent"
5. Click on "Ezekiel 4:9 break" check
6. Click on "Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast" row
7. Click on "Number of Servings"
8. Type "6.5" (or whatever it was that day)
9. Click on "Save".
10. Click on "Add to Checked"
11. Click on "Add All"
12. Hit "Back" button 3 times to make sure the app exits.

And this is for a very simple meal. I wish I could have participated in the beta, but hopefully you'll see this message. The number of clicks has to come way down. Fortunately the fear of being obese scares me into documenting my food, but that won't last forever.

I'd like to comment on the full site not having as much info as the app! I don't understand why I can see all data in the app but I only have a limited selection such as Carbs, Iron etc on the full site. It would be great if both had the full features but great work anyway. I still appreciate your service. Thank you

Kym1610 wrote 51 months ago:

Using Samsung S2 X, love it so far. Only beef is on multi-add I can barely see one row at a time with the keyboard and ad feature appearing. Very frustrating to select multiple items in such a small visual area.

Could you provide a link to the correct forum to share feedback?

Gutted, I have a z1 and so wanted the beta, not being able to synch easily is driving me a bit mad lol. Ah well, let's hope it all gets through to the full product soon! Good luck guys and thanks for the continued development.

Is there a way to tell if I am running the beta app or not? I was accepted, but when I try to download via the link it tells me "app already installed"...I have not seen any auto update either (it has been at least 48 hrs(

After being in relationship with Wilson for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that don't believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I meant a spell caster called Dr Zuma zuk and I email him, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email: spiritualherbalisthealing@gmail.com or call him +2349055637784 you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or anything.
