I started my weight training class at school today! It was so good feeling, I think the class will be very helpful... BUT I am SO SO SO sore. My body is so tired, cuz we had to figure out our "maxes" today, aka how much you can lift on each machine until you feel like you are going to die. HAHA! so stiff, so sore. GOOD sore, but still. I can't wait to see how this class goes! It's 7 weeks long, 2x a week, so hopefully it will be helpful!

Smaller I Get, Bigger I FeelDoes anyone else have this problem?! Logically, mathmatically, I KNOW that I am smaller (...I've lost 45 lbs...) I KNOW that I am thinner, healthier, etc. But the more weight I lose the unhappier I am with my body. I think the problem is that I exzpect my body to look friggin' FABULOUS after this much effort and getting this much done, but my body has different ideas. I AM a lot smaller, I look and feel SOOOOOOOO much better, but now I feel like I can see my flaws so much easier!!
This is so disheartening, and yet it drives me to continue my work.......... :( 5votes

PLATEAU BROKEN!!FINALLY I broke through that plateau!! I'd been stuck at 173 for weeeeeeeks and I was starting to wonder if my body was trying to tell me that this was enough, that with my frame that I shouldn't be trying to loose more weight or whatever. Then, BAM, this week with broken toes and overeating, I lost 3.5 lbs!!!! Which makes me think that I was overdoing it with the exercise/limiting cals, making my body protest lol. 169.5 baby! 15 more lbs until goal!!! :D 1votes

Broken ToesI totally broke 2 of my toes this week, so exercise has been difficult, since I can barely walk like a normal person. So frustrating to not be able to do what I want, since it's been warm and I know the weather will be heading south soon. I want to go running and ride my bike!

Addicted to ChocolateSo I love my veggies, and I love my fruits. I eat lean meats and whole grains. I love being healthier and working out and eating better. It makes me feel amazing. However!!! I absolutely cannot stop with the sweets! Chocolate, ice cream, brownies, cookies. I try to stay within my calories, even with the sweets, but the chocolate always just calls my name!!!! I cannot resist. Seriously this is getting out of control. Any suggestions!?

Killer ColdSo I'm from Wisconsin and right now, in my area we have this thing going around that is being called "the killer cold" because when you get it you feel like you are going to die. Well, guess what. I got it. UGH, I feel so nasty and achy and I have a headache. I'm also SUPER munchie mode when I get sick (thats not a stomach thing). I feel like just laying around to veg and eat candy. BAD IDEA......... I've heard this thing lasts for like 2 weeks, so now I'm going to go, so I can kill the person who gave it to me! :)

My 21st Bday!So this weekend, I went way over calories, and I was totally okay with that! I turned 21 on Saturday, so I went out Friday night, Saturday, and was SUPER hungover Sunday lol! There was the Octoberfest celebrations downtown on Saturday, so it was a day of a ton of walking, deep fried foods, and beer. (and margaritas) haha. I had so much fun, and I am so okay with the fact that I went overboard this weekend. I also didn't gain any weight!!! CRAZINESS!

Down 42 lbs!So as of this morning I am down 42 lbs and I have 18 left. I can't believe I made it this far, and at the same time, I feel like I am losing motivation to work on the last 15-20 lbs... I know this part is supposed to go slower, but it is hard to keep focused and keep working hard when you're not seeing the results!

Whoo Tuesday.I did pretty well last night... I resisted the ice cream sundae temptation and instead had a bowl of Total Cranberry Crunch cereal with 2% milk, about 290 calories, sweet, and a lot healthier than the tempting 'scream. I just got done with classes for the morning, and although I have a class tonight that I have a mondo amount of work to do for, I'm going to go for a run and maybe a bike ride! Then I'll come home take a shower, and go back to the library where I live :( jk. Hoping to be healthy and still get a lot done today! Wish me luck, I have to give a speech tonight!

Under CaloriesOk, this is sooo usually not a problem for me, but I'm actually under in calories today, by about 550! Wierd. Normally I'm struggling not to go over (and then usually go over by about 200) boo. Today, though I missed breakfast after my car wouldn't start, and so I didnt eat those calories, and then I had my badminton class today, so I "earned" some more besides. Dinner was a salad and a slim-fast meal bar, and lunch was soup and toast. I know what I cooould eat for 550 calories, but I am trying to tempt myself into eating something healthier, and NOT an ice cream sundae. LOL!
