MISSING IN ACTION!!

So the last few days I've been missing in action. I have not logged none of my food and didn't exercise at all! Couldnt list my food because I've ate to much. I was ashamed of what it would turn out to be.

Why have I done this to myself, my body? It was simple I was selfish. I was sick on monday and work has been horrible. Not the residents I take care of but the management and how they handle things. So I turned to greasy food and soda. Wow, I regretted it once I put it in my mouth. The worse part is I was fully aware of what I was going. But I didnt care.

I started to check out Pintrest!! Boy, that was a mistake!! I found the food and baking section. I started to make rainbow cupcakes. Which by the way are so yummy and beautiful!!!

FAST FORWARD TO NOW!!!!

I was mad at my husband so I bought McDonalds and ordered a large sprite, fries, and chicken nuggets!! Again, I hated myself while I ate it! But did I stop nope. This is the problem that I have. I turn to food while I'm having issues with stressful situations. I need to stop and really focus on why I'm turning to food. I should have worked out instead to help the stress.

So here I am again!!! Starting over because I hate being OBESE! I went to the store and looked at the clothes in the plus-size section and wanted to vomit. They dont have the clothes my inner self would where. So here I go again. I will make the better choices and do whats RIGHT FOR MY BODY!!

EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES!!!!

So I had a million of reasons why not to work-out today. 1) I didnt work out yesterday! 2) its too hot 3) I'm to tired from work 4) I don't like to workout after my work 5) I dont like to work out in the evenings....the list goes on and on.

But then I thought about my WHY. WHY I want to lose weight? There is a billion of reasons WHY I want to lose weight! So I thought of those instead and YES they out weighed my reasons not to work out!

I grabbed my TURBO JAM and picked the 20-minute dvd. I really wasnt in the mood to do it. After about 5 minutes I was hooked I wanted to finish the rest of the dvd.

I felt bad about not working out yesterday and my body felt it. Today at work there was a birthday party for one of the big boss's! It was her 40th birthday! So of course there was birthday cake. Yes, I had a piece. I took a small piece. I wanted more but I didnt. It was hard to say NO!!! But I thought about it and decided 'that I would rather be thinner!"

Granted there will always be birthday cake or some type of food that will get to you. Its part of life. You can have a small piece and then get on with your life. Food doesnt control you, you control the food! I'm glad that I had packed a healthy lunch and snacks for work today. It helped me stay focus and on track!

So remember when you feel like over-eating; think about your WHY! Keep you mind busy with other things and stay focus. Drink some water and if you truely want IT. Let yourself have a small piece that way you dont crave it and go overboard.

I cant believe I finished a week of Turbo Jam!!! I'm very pleased with myself!! I usually dont last this long with a dvd workout! I only did 20 minutes today. I've also stuck with my Curves workout like I planned. I'll still keep PUSHING play on my TJ workouts.

I really want to hit my goal for next summer. Granted there are times where I dont want to go but I need to do this for myself. I love the fact that I've been logging on for 15 days now! I just love MFP! I figure as long as I'm exercising and logging in my calories. I'll be ok. Slow and steady wins the race right!?!

Day 6-WANTED TO QUIT?

Day 5 I was did want to get up and exercise. I laid there after I hit snooze on my alarm clock, not wanting to get up and do my beloved turbo jam. I thought I . do it after work. So i laid there some more and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. That I knew I would be to tired after work to exercise.

You see I'm a C.N.A. which meand I work in a nursing home. I take care of alot of types of people not just your normal nursing home residents. We have people as young as 25 to all the way 101 years old. Some are there for old age, some have ms, some have cerberil palsy and other types of disabilities. So we go in and help them get out of bed, do their daily cares. Push their wheelchairs to meals and to activites. Help them through out the day. I do this 12 hours a day 3 times a week. I walk fast consteintly bending and stretching, pushing and pulling.

But since I started working out reguarly in the morning; I can honestly say that I feel like I can do my job better. Granted, I'm still tired but not like before. So why would I want to quit working out? The reason was simple for me I would rather feel like crap and give up. No, not really sometimes I'm lazy and would rather lounge on th couch and watch cartoons with my kids. But I would be missing out on life.

The FAT has trapped me in my house. I'm ashamed. But THIS right here is the reason why I'm not going to give up. I dont want to live like this any more!!! I dont want to be the FAT MOM at my kids school activites, I always wonder what other people are thinking of me when I'm there. I shouldnt but I do. I dont want to be one of the fattest people at my work. I dont want to be the fat wife. Granted my husband loves me no matter what. But still when we go out I feel ashamed. I like to go out dancing but wouldnt go becauseof how I feel about myself.

All of these reasons are the WHY I'M NOT QUITING. I keep all of this in my head when I want to quit. I didnt get fat over night or in a week, a month, and so on. So I'll keep on PUSHING MYSELF. To get where I want to be.

ok so here I am at day 3 of TURBO JAM. I should have done TURBO SCULPT but instead I did CARDIO PARTY!!!

Let me tell you that was a little hard. After 25 minutes I wanted to quit. But I didn't I pushed myself through the work out. I might havent been pretty and totally correct. But there was no way I was going to stop. I wanted to finish.

I kept thinking of the way I'm going to look like in the end of the 90 days. It might be only a 20 pound lose. But it's a lot better then what I am now.

I think what has helped me this past week with my weightloss, is the fact I logged in my food intake everyday. I might be the best eater at times but I can always see how many calories I have left to decide on what I'll be wating next.

Thank goodness for the exercise button, because I might be extra hungry that day. I know that if I exercise I can be winning back some extra calories that I can eat something more or even have that one piece of chocolate. lol

Last, all the AMAZING friends that I am finding on this site. People who have the same amout of weight to lose like me. Or the person who have already lost their weight and made their goal. And the person who is almost there with there own weightloss. It's just a great place to be.

So here we are at DAY 1 of TURBO JAM. I started with the first disk which had LEARN AND BURN. Basically you learn the key steps of the work out. Then the next 15 minutes you learn the burn.

Wasn't bad at all; I just had to remind my self not to learn back and tilt my pelvis forward. That was pretty hard to tell you the trueth. But love to learn the techinic properly. That way I can make the most out of the workout.

I did take the 'before' photos and did do the measurements. All I can say is WOW! And thats not a good thing either. My one thigh measurements should be what my waist should be. But it's good to see those numbers because now I'm more determined to lose the weight and eat healthier.

Tomorrow workout will be 20-MINUTE workout. Cant wait to begin again. i will probably do LEARN AND BURN one more time tonight just to get use to the moves.

Hi everybody my name is Jennifer. I have 101 pounds to lose and I would like to lose it my Christmas of 2013. I haven't weighed myself since I started MYFitnessPal which was roughtly 5 days ago.

I feel so much better using this sight because of how easy it is. I went back to CURVES for my workout program. I'm only able to go 3x a week do to my work schedule. I uploaded myfitnesspal to my phone to help me when I'm not close to my laptop. I have ordered TURBO JAM. Its coming sometime this week. I believe on wednesday it should be here.

So once TURBO JAM comes I'll be reweighing myself, taking the dreaded before pictures. I wont weigh myself for another 30 days. The program I believe is 90 da ys. So every 30 days I'll weigh myself and take photos. I plan on blogging my experience throughout the program. I also plan on doing 2 rounds of TURBO JAM then switching it up. The next workout I be going is TURBO FIRE.

So the recap of my change of events: Shakeology for breakfast, veggies or fruits for a snack, healthy choice for dinner and supper. Curves 3x times a week, Turbo Jam, and a walk around the neighborhood.

Last I had lost 60 pounds. But to gain it back when I deceided to let food control me. Not this time I'm taking back my control over my body.
