I started ast week and I lost 5lbs. Now I am checking every day to see if I gain them back now that I am back to my regular eating. I think I eat pretty healthy and rarely I eat red meat, mostly legumes, beans, fish and some chicken. I also try to buy organic whenever I have the choice. I need to loose about 50 lbs. I will keep you posted to see if this diet works for me on the long run.

For the vegetarian: You can probably substitute the meat with fish or beans.

Started the 3 day diet yesterday. Followed exactly which is hard for me but I did it. Today is day 2 & I ate an extra egg but I have been going to gym everynight this week so I'm hoping it doesn't affect me too much. Anyway kudos to anyone who is trying this diet. It is a little tough especially when you are used to eating whatever, but stick with it because it does work & you will be so proud of the benefits. Also I am going to try the 5 day on & weekends off just because with my work schedule it's a lot easier & it doesn't give me a lot of time to mess it up either.

This diet definitely works. I lost 25 lbs in 3 months. I substituted different veggies some days like broccoli instead of beets. I also swapped lunch and dinner most days because I would be more hungry during the day than in the evening.

i have some simple questions. 1) can i steam the veggies or do they have to be raw? can i blend the veggies if raw to make like a drink, carrots and broccoli? 2) does it matter on the coffee or tea...decaf or caf? flavored but no added creamers or honey?

Spices are known to rev up your you can burn more calories without lifting a finger.
More importantly, they also help you in detoxifying your system.
It helps you in mobilizing the unhealthy toxins around your colon, which (as per research) could be holding as much as 30 pounds in some cases!

and nutrient absorption.
3. Ginger: Hinders cholesterol absorption.
