Insanity Day 23: Need More Zzzzzzzzzzz

Note to self: A full, uninterrupted night of sleep is essential for peak performance during the Insanity workouts.
I have been making a really good effort to get enough sleep, and for the most part I have been. But last night (or this morning, rather) at 3am my 3-year-old son climbed on to our bed and proceeded to thrash around restlessly until 6:15 am. When he finally settled down, my 18-month-old son decided to wake up for the day.
So five hours of sleep is not conducive to an energetic workout the next day. I plodded through the moves today, truly phoning it in throughout some of the workout. And at this moment I am soooo looking forward to bedtime. (It's only 12:24pm.)
What I have noticed, however, is that I am not struggling so hard to do the power moves anymore. I can do all of the pushups and dips with maybe a pause or two to collect my strength and continue. It was the cardio that slowed me down today.
Okay, one last time. *sigh*
Tomorrow is Plyometric Cardio Circuit. I am going to do my best to get all of the necessary sleep tonight so I can crush that bad boy in the morning. Wish me luck!!
