Jogging shadow

So I start jogging, slowly.  It's been awhile.  I notice my shadow, running along beside me.  It's so slow and it's feet seem like they are barely getting off the ground and it certainly could loose some weight.  It seems to be mocking me. I turn a corner and now my shadow is in front of me, encouraging me.  Hey, hey, hey, hey won't you come along, come along . . .  Much better.  The weather is perfect and there are a few early trick or treaters to watch.  I forget about my shadow and finish the 3 miles, mostly walking.  It's a start.  I'll be jogging the 3 miles soon enough.

My dream is to jog a mile. I can only jog for 3 minutes at a time withou passing out!

The couch to 5k program is a great program to get there. It's a gradual build up, alternating between just a little jogging and walking and by the end of the program you will be jogging 3 miles without passing out. Below is the website. I have also started the couch to 5k programme. Soon i shall do that 30 minute 5k (well by the end of the year anyway)
