Choose Wisely - Another Must Read!

Decisions are incredibly important things!  Good decisions will come back to bless you.  Bad decisions will come back to haunt you.  

That's why it's so important that you take the time to choose wisely.  Choose to do the things that reflect well...on your ability, your integrity, your spirit, your health, your tomorrows, your smiles, your dreams, and yourself.

You are such a wonder.  You're the only one in the universe exactly like you!  I want you to take care of that rare and remarkable soul.  I want you to know that there is someone who will thank you for doing the things you do now with foresight and wisdom and respect.

It's the person you will someday be.

When you are feeling uncertain about what to do or which way to go, I want to gently remind you that so many days are filled with decisions... but if you let your heart help you decide what is right for you, I know you will choose wisely.  

When you are in need of patience and faith and strength, I encourage you to rely on all the good things that would love to make themselves available to you:

Inner peace, reaching out;

Steady goals, staying strong; 

And all your wonderful qualities that have always seen you through and will continue to carry you on.

If you were to ask yourself - What do I want my life to be about? - I guarantee this:  "Stress" has never been anyone's answer.  It's such a destructive thing.  A milk case of it can be unhealthy.  A major case of it can be both physically and emotionally crippling.  I've seen it happen firsthand, and I've come to understand how harmful it can be.

It's so sad when stress becomes part of our daily lives.  Once in awhile, okay.  That probably goes with the territory of living in this unpredictable world.  But beyond is not okay.  When the warning signs start showing up everywhere, that's time to take heed, get help, and move on.  There's a better way to live.  

Part of the beauty of being a human being is this: you have options.  You're a thinking, feeling, creative soul, and you can figure out how to be more in control of your own life.  You're the author of this work, and you can make it work.

You can tackle stress and come out on top.  You are capable.  You have seen your way through many difficult things, and you can see your way through this.  You can cope.  You can handle the situation at hand.  

You can hold on to your health, remembering that it is your ultimate compass, telling you if you're headed in the right direction or not.  

You can seek out a place of serenity.  You can even let yourself be selfish for a change.  It's okay.  Really.  Instead of being the last one you take care of, remember that you can only share a smile if you've got one to share.  Take the timeto find yours again.  If your stress is complicated by being a "Type A" personality, give yourself a break and see what it's like to be a different letter for a change... one that makes you happy and that greets you with a welcome-back smile when you see yourself in the mirror.  Try to make sure that the person you see is a reflection... not of who you have to be... but who you want to be. 

You can turn to friends and loved ones.  You can talk it over 'till it's all talked out.  You can look within, reach up, and have faith.  You can make a plan, put it into place, and find the brighter day that's out there waiting for you.  And most of all:

You can do it... because life is too short not to
