Day 4 and getting into good habits!!!
Another good day today, its been a busy one at work and I did nt take lunch today as I was travelling around lots but my boss kindly treated me to a pub lunch! A rare occasion! This was now easy for me, in the past this would have stressed me out no end as I would be really strict on myself. There was an occasion not so long ago when my fiance took me out for lunch to one of my favourite places but because I was being super strict there was nothing on the menu I could have and I ended up in tears leaving him feeling guilty when he was actually being lovely. Today because I dont have to be strict, because I am not on a diet and because all I have to do is count my calories and be honest to stay in my limit I had my favourite coronation chicken sandwich with salad yum! I did leave the crisps that came with it though but that was my choice. I had a lovely relaxed lunch which I thoroughly enjoyed and am so happy that this change in mind set and new way of looking at life, food and exercise is really working already.
My insanity set has arrived and I will be starting on Monday and will give a regular progress update on this. Right now I am off to my running club for probably a 4 mile run tonight I love running in a club it keeps me motivated much like the people on here! 13 weeks ago I could not run a mile now with 3 x weekly runs I am able to run 5.5 miles comfortably and am building on that with the intention of running a half marathon in March.
