Why I Want to Get Back on Track

1. It makes me so, so, so much happier when I exercise.

2. I feel better physically; more energy.

3. Vanity. I loved looking better and better.

4. I need to prove to myself that I CAN change for the long haul. "I've been changed for good" needs to have all of its levels of meaning fulfilled.

5. Health. I want to know that I'm trying to live a healthy, wholesome life.

6. Respect. People respect me more the healthier I become. I respect myself more.

7. Those habits were slowing changing other areas of my life for the better as well. Finances being one, but also my interactions with people. I'm starting to hide again. I don't want to be ashamed.

8. I want to experience true love, and if I don't love myself, how can I truly show love to another, or expect him to love me?

9. I'm miserable after eating like crap for two months.

10. I love my family and friends being proud of me; I especially don't want to let Destiny down.

11. I want to be able and have the drive to play with my nephews and nieces.

12. It makes my dogs happy to go walking.

All great reasons. Can I add #13 - "Because I am worth it!"

It made me cry seeing my name on this list. It reminds me of Warrior Dash when your biggest concern was not being able to conquer the wall and letting me down. And what happened? The same as what's going to happen now. You will rise. You will conquer. Love you sis... You can do this. I know it

I know and understand how you feel, since Christmas I have lost tract of where I was going. My eating stinks due to my sweet tooth that I thought I had lost but found out it had just went in hiding for a while. Please know that you can do this. I can do this, I am so proud of you and when you did the warrior thing I couldn't believe it. I thought wow I have went online and looked at those and there is no way I can do those. Tonya you are an awesome beautiful person inside and out and I know that God will see you though this. all my love with hugs and kisses. Brenda

This truly inspired me and hit home right now for me. I've been "off track" and not exercising the past 2 weeks and I feel TERRIBLE and am so mad at myself. I have excuse after excuse, when really, I just need to get back up and DO IT. I WILL reach my goal this time and stay there.....thanks for this...I needed it today! Good luck to you..I KNOW you can do it.

Number 7 is a really good one. That sounds just like me. Don't worry about falling off track, as long as you know ( at it seems like you do) how to get back on. Good luck. :)

Love this! You make great points (though the doggie one is my personal favorite!).
