When I'm sitting at my computer, I usually have 4 tabs open on my browser: Facebook, MFP, email, and Skinnytaste.com.
I discovered Skinnytaste about 6 months ago, and I can't say enough about how much I love this blog!
Gina is the author, photographer and recipe developer of skinnytaste, and I am beyond impressed with what she has created. She has a huge collection of recipes all neatly organized so that you can quickly find what you are looking for. Each recipe has step-by-step instructions, complete with beautiful pictures, so that you can recreate her delicious food even if you aren't as adept in the kitchen.
I love that her recipes are lightened-up versions of the "real thing", yet they taste just as good (if not better!) She includes nutrition information for each of her recipes and cute little stories about her inspirations for the food she creates.
Here are the recipes I've tried and enjoyed from skinnytaste so far:
grilled potatoes, spinach and bacon stuffed mushrooms, zesty lime shrimp and avocado salad, healthy baked chicken nuggets, baked zucchini sticks, italian turkey meatballs, heart-shaped chocolate chip banana pancakes, shrimp quesadillas with tomato avocado salsa, turkey burgers with zucchini, meatball and spaghetti soup, baked broccoli macaroni and cheese, chicken rollatini stuffed with zucchini and mozarella, meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato frosting, black bean soup, pepper steak, shrimp with peas and rice, baked chicken parmesan, crock pot santa fe chicken, crock pot 3 bean turkey chili, sweet and firey pork tenderloin with mango salsa, cilantro lime rice, mexican slow cooked pork carnitas, best low-fat chocolate chip cookies ever, whole wheat snickerdoodles
There are so many more recipes that I have yet to try! If you haven't already checked out skinnytaste- you should! Try something new and let me know how it is! :)
