WELCOME TO WEEK 10 (Christmas Week!)______________________________________________________
HOLY COW! You guys are in Week 10!! I am Just SO PROUD of all of you that stuck with this and made it this far!!!....Sooooo I know you guys signed up for an Elimination Challenge and mostly, by perseverance and sheer WILL, those of you that have made it this far have Been Very Successful in sticking with it and kicking butt...
...not giving up over the holidays and when you might normally enjoy your family, sit around and just eat...You might be doing some of the above...but you sure AREN’T SITTING AROUND! You Are Moving Big Time!!!
Though the Nature of this challenge is for me to Eliminate each week – because of the holiday stresses I have not had to do that much this time around as people have felt they had to drop out as there was too much pulling on them....
Andddd Given my soooo kind heart ;-P I JUST Can’t Bring Myself to Eliminate 3 days before Christmas, anyone who finished the challenge this week.... Hopefully that doesn’t upset anyone but I just couldn’t do it to all you hard workers...
That Said...we did have 3 drops due to illness or other things...

That does mean some of you were saved this week...AND that Also Means – as I only let in 10, at the Most, into the final week – At Least 9 People Will Be Eliminated at the end of this week....But you all have 1 more week to Curse Me!!__________________________________________________
That Leaves 19 Amazing People left in the Main Challenge...and I believe only 2 Awesome Eliminated people still in this, kicking butt and going for points!!! (since it’s so close to the final week – I’m not going to be combining teams so they’re a little lopsided but I’ll keep it fair) – but next week it’s every man/woman for himself anyway)
This Week - The #1 Personal Weightloss % Goes to... mailaig....beloved Wolverine! With a hard earned and well deserved 2.24% of loss!! WOW!! Amazing Work!!!! Which earns her 3 pts and everyone on the Wolverines an extra point! Yea!!!
And the 2nd highest weightloss this week....ALSO a GREAT JOB...scythswife from the Tigers/Geckos with a 1.42% of loss!!
It is SO hard to lose at all this time of year...but throwing #’s up like that?! Sooooo it IS Possible!!!!! WOW...
AND for the Big Side Challenge....Some Pretty Good Burns went up this week!!
But ultimately the highest % over the required team # went to the Wolverines with a 3.76 over!! And That, I must mention was Huge as 2 of there people didn’t fulfill their personal requirements – so the remaining people on the team KILLED The Week to Achieve that!!
All Teams should be proud of how well they did!!! ....with the Dolphins a little behind with a 3.01% over....the Tigers with a 1.86% over and the Sharks were Just under with a .99%....YOU GUYS ARE REALLY BUSTING IT OUT THERE!!

# 1 ** POST YOUR WEEKLY POSITIVE COMMENT FOR 2 POINTS ON THE MAIN BLOG!!– 2 pts for a single "positive" (2 Pts Max per week)
#2 **Stay Under Your allotted 2500 mg of sodium - 1 pt per day - (5 Max per week)

WEEK 10 CHALLENGE:
#1 – WORKOUT....Workout
Part #1 - WORKOUTS – Each Person Must Workout for 3 / 45 Minute Workouts this week (NOT INCLUDING Christmas Day which is in Part #2!
Because of all that I know many of you have going on – you CAN split the 45 minutes up into No More than 2 workouts in a day....or get it all in at once.
Part #2 - In ADDITION – You MUST Do Some Form of Exercise on CHRISTMAS for around 30 minutes – I’m NOT going to worry about a few minutes give or take
BUT you MUST give it a try...Get Creative!! ***get in a workout before the festivities start OR **** PICK An ACTIVE Game to Play with your family!...wii or Kinnect or ball out in the yard OR **** take a walk with some of your family! ENCORPORATE them into being active WITH you if that works for you! But Get Something in Before or After All That Fun and Food!!!
Each Person MUST Burn 1300 Calories Minimum during the week!
I am NOT being tough on you this week...because you all have a lot going on...last minute stuff...etc...
BUT REMEMBER – 9 people WILL be eliminated at the end of this week! So YOU Need to PUSH YOURSELVES to do what you can...and what you are able...just don’t give up but don’t get carried away! Your Family is just as important as your health! So Take Care of Them AND You!
There Are NO Team #’s this week for Calories! It’s All On You Individually! And Hopefully the Scale will Be Kind at the end of the Week! ____________________________________________________________________ #2
#2 REPS –
Sooooo I KNOW....You Guys Were TOTALLY HOPING I’d Keep Planks in Again This Week....You’re In Luck!! ;-P
INCREASE Your Plank time from last week by 2-5 seconds – Preferably 5 but I know this is REALLY a tough one for some.
For Your Reps this week....You Are to do: 5 of those for your “NEW” MAX Time 4 of 5 days – And yes you can still Spread them however you would like or need to throughout a day and can use Friday morning!
Part 2 – You Must Do 500 Reps of Any Kind You would like during the rest of the week – but MUST do AT LEAST 25 at a time of any 1 thing
Again no team #’s for this either! Just push yourself and support your team to do ALL They Can – but its up to you guys now!!_____________________________________________________________________
#3 HR (Hard Rep) – You get a reprieve from this – No HR requirement this week – do them if you wish – if you do – they can count towards your reps as long as you hit the “25” minimum set
#4 This weeks - PERSONAL CHALLENGE –
Part #1 – For lack of a better word...pick you penance or punishment this week – Pick something you Hate Or is Really Hard for you (like chair lifts, pushups, squats, More Planks) 20 Minimum but you be your own judge there....
Something that will make you think twice about eating that extra piece of candy or getting that second helping or piling on the desserts....
Every time you have a slip up or make a less than great food decision - you must do your penance! –
ie: - Sayyyy Mine is weighted lunges (20)....I ate 2 pieces of candy instead of just 1 – Ugggg Now I Know I’ve got to do 20 of those Darn Lunges!! Might make me think twice about doing it again!!
Report to your team page What Yours is...Then keep track of HOW Many Times you had to do those dreaded (insert yours here) mine...Weighted Lunges during the week! AND HOW Many Times You Opted Differently Because of the THOUGHT of having to do the punishment exercise!
Part #2 – This is OPEN to EVERYONE still following along with this Challenge – whether you’re still in it or not!
On The Main Blog – Take a Moment to think of why or what triggers that made you become overweight or less healthy than you’d like to be...even if you’re at goal...what WAS that or those things that pushed you to eat more and move less...
AND Then Post with that – WHAT you’ve done OR Are Going to Try to do To HANDLE those situations better!
Sayyyy....for some of us its family pressure, boredom, stress, an injury, lack of support etc...And How can you or have you taken charge...Noticed a trigger coming on and WHAT you can do or did do to make it so you did something OTHER than eat your way through your issue!
This may be a Very Personal part of the challenge for some of you – but you saying it here with all this support around you, may Help You and I Guarantee It WILL help Others! ______________________________________________________
