WEEK 7 ELIMINATION CHALLENGE LINKS

1st off I did add a similar Carb challenge this week (as in the past)...Of which I've gotten mixed emotions on in the past....along with other food challenges...

So I just want to make a couple comments to pre-empt....

 The first time I brought in a food challenge, it was  a requirement which I have stopped doing - the 2nd and 3rd time I added food challenges they were just voluntary

Now they are worth points so those that are more competitive will maybe give it a try but NOT the end of the world if you choose not to. 

 That makes Them NOT a requirement of the week!  I put these up as a learning tool.  And I Do NOT just pull these ideas out of the sky.  I have read and learned from a lot of personal trainers and other fitness based shows and books.  My biggest base is Bob Harper from the Biggest Loser...A lot of my ideas come from his 3 books that I've read. 

 THIS CHALLENGE THAT I RUN...IS...

 #1...A CHALLENGE

#2.... A COMPETITION.

#3....VOLUNTARY...I am NOT forcing you to do anything here!  Just trying to give you NEW Tools to work with and NEW learning experiences that might really benefit some of you.

 #4....IF you are on a specific diet you need just to message me for us to work something else out!

 AND keep in Mind...This is JUST ONE WEEK AND JUST 5 DAYS....SO if you choose to try something in the challenge or not...not that long to give it a try!

 Anyway.... for this week -CARBS - NOT trying to have you eliminate carbs at all...but in my readings - evening carbs create hunger and turn into sugar...and while many of us exercise at night and crave carbs - go for the fruits, veggies and PROTEIN and lower the evening carbs. 

The points are just 1 pt per day if you keep your carbs to 1/2 after lunch of the rest of your day.  This has actually proven to be a HUGE benefit for those that have kept an open mind and given it a try in the past....but those that would rather not...that's fine...its really not a huge point gainer but hope most of you will give it a shot if you are able.

Ladies...Beyond Hillarious!! If you need a laugh...here you go!!

Some of you probably have seen this before...but I never had and it had me in stitches at work - my co-worker forwarded it to me.... Though its not at all about weightloss...still thought I'd share!  (actually if you lose all your weight and you get this bright idea...it might actually be educational and make you think twice!  hahaha!!!  enjoy....it's long but worth it!!
My night began as any other normal weeknight.
Come home, fix dinner, play with the kids. I then had the thought that would ring painfully in my mind for the next few hours: 'Maybe I should pull the waxing kit out of the medicine cabinet. S...o I headed to the site of my demise: the bathroom. It was one of those 'cold wax' kits. No melting a clump of hot wax, you just rub the strips together in your hand, they get warm and you
peel them apart and press them to your leg (or wherever else) and you pull the hair right off.

No muss, no fuss. How hard can it be? I mean, I'm not a genius, but I am mechanically inclined enough to figure this out.
(YA THINK!?!)

So I pull one of the thin strips out. Its two strips facing each other stuck together. Instead of rubbing them together, my genius kicks in so I get out the hair dryer and heat it to 1000 degrees.
'Cold wax,' yeah...right!) I lay the strip across my20thigh. Hold the skin around it tight and pull. It works!

OK, so it wasn't the best feeling, but it wasn't too bad. I can do this! Hair removal no longer eludes me!

I am She-rah, fighter of all wayward body hair and maker of smooth skin extraordinaire.

With my next wax strip I move north. After checking on the kids,
I sneak back into the bathroom, for the ultimate hair fighting
championship. I drop my panties and place one foot on the toilet.

Using the same procedure, I apply the wax strip across the right side of my bikini line, covering the right half of my hoo-ha and stretching down to the inside of my butt cheek (it was a long
strip) I inhale deeply and brace myself....RRRRIIIPPP!!!!

I'm blind!!! Blinded from pain!!!!....OH MY GAWD!!!!!!!!!

Vision returning, I notice that I've only managed to pull off half the strip. CRAP! Another deep breath and RIPP! Everything is
spinning and spotted.

I think I may pass out.....must stay conscious...must stay conscious. Do I hear crashing drums??? Breathe,
breathe...OK, back to normal.
I want to see my trophy - a wax covered strip, the one that has caused me so much pain, with my hairy pelt sticking to it. I
want to revel in the glory that is my triumph over body hair.
I hold up the strip!

There's no hair on it.

Where is the hair??? WHERE IS THE WAX???

Slowly I ease my head down, foot still perched on the toilet. I see the hair. The ha ir that should be on the strip...it's not! I touch. I am touching wax.

I run my fingers over the most sensitive part of my body, which is now covered in cold wax and matted hair. Then I make the next
BIG mistake... remember my foot is still propped upon the toilet? I know I need to do something. So I put my foot down.

Sealed shut! My butt is sealed shut. Sealed shut!

I penguin walk around the bathroom trying to figure out what to do and think to myself 'Please don't let me get the urge to
poop..

My head may pop off!' What can I do to melt the wax?

Hot water!! Hot water melts wax!! I'll run the hottest water I can stand, into the bathtub, get in, immerse the wax-covered
bits and the wax should melt and I can gently wipe it off, right???
*WRONG!!!!!!!*

I get in the tub - the water is slightly hotter than that used to torture prisoners of war or sterilize surgical equipment - I sit.

Now, the only thing worse than having your nether regions glued together, is having them glued together and then glued to the
bottom of the tub....in scalding hot water.

Which, by the way, doesn't melt cold wax.

So, now I'm stuck to the bottom of the tub as though I had cemented myself to the porcelain!! God bless the man who had convinced me a few months ago to have a phone put in the bathroom!!!!!

I call my friend, thinking surely she has waxed before and has some secret of how to get me u ndone. It's a very good
conversation starter. 'So, my butt and hoo-ha are glued together to the bottom of the tub!'

There is a slight pause. She doesn't know any secret tricks for removal but she does try to hide her laughter from me.

She wants to know exactly where the wax is located,
Are we talking cheeks or hoo-ha?'

She's laughing out loud by now . I can hear her. I give her the rundown and she suggests I call the number on the side of the
box. YEAH!!!!! Right!! I should be the joke of someone else's night.

While we go through various solutions. I resort to trying to scrape the wax off with a razor. Nothing feels better than to have
your girlie goodies covered in hot wax, glued shut, stuck to the tub in super hot water and then dry-shaving the sticky wax off!! By now the brain is not working, dignity has taken a major hike and I'm pretty sure I'm going to need Post-Traumatic Stress counseling for this event.

My friend is still talking with me when I finally see my saving grace....the lotion they give you to remove the excess wax.
What do I really have to lose at this point? I rub
some on and OH MY GOD!!!!!!! The scream probably woke the kids and scared the dickens out of my friend. It's sooo painful, but I really don't care.

IT WORKS!!

It works !!' I get a hearty congratulation from my friend and she hangs up. I successfully remove the remainder of the wax and
then notice to my grief and despair... THE HAIR IS STILL THERE.......ALL OFIT!
So I recklessly shave it off. Heck, I'm numb by now. Nothing hurts. I could have amputated my own leg at this point.

Next week I'm going to try hair color......

ELIMINATION CHALLENGE - TENTATIVE TEAMS!!!

These Are Tentative Teams!!….I have Some Team Leaders that Are Not completely confirmed (want to make sure they are ok with the arrangement) and I want to make sure I didn’t miss any “SPECIFIC” requests of people that weren’t willing to move around in teams….so there may be some changes….

Also want to make sure I HAVE EVERYONE– wanted to post this on a Blog before making anything “FINAL” on the groups page.  (though you have VERY limited time to alert me to my mistakes...sorry.....gotta know by tomorrow (Saturday mid afternoon PST)

If I missed a major request or your Name is missing please let me know and I will try and make the correction or get you added!!!!   

Also, I tried to give more “help” to certain teams I knew had More “part time”ish, sporadic helpers/ co-leaders  and to ones that were newer – and a little less to ones that usually stick with this to the end and in past have rathered handling the team more themselves (was a judgment call that I may be WAY off On!!)  – SO IF YOU THINK you might need more help…again…let me know!!!!!…I still have Options of moving help around!  SO Please don’t get “cozy” with your team just yet   ;-)

All Teams at this point have a good mix of lower, middle and higher weighted people averaging out pretty evenly but there is wiggle room to accommodate requests (as long as there aren’t a TON of them.)  All teams have between 11 and 13 people (and as all returners know – I adjust the challenge depending on how many are on each team – team #’s vary depending on that #).   And each team has between 3-5 “newbies” to the challenge on their team, so they have plenty of support around them helping them learn the ropes!

Following are the Tentative Teams: (If you are Bolded and at the top of your team -  you are “tentative” co-team leader – barring any issues you have with it – and Please let me know if it’s a problem…I still have some options if I need to make changes…so Please don’t hesitate to let me know!)

And….I Just have to say this…and will throughout the challenge – Without the Team Leaders…this challenge would not exist!  Most of you are returners and do an Awesome Amazing Job….and dedicate a LOT to your teams!  There is NO Way I Could this Without You and No Way this would be as successful as it is for people or even Exist if it wasn’t for you guys….so I Thank you, Thank You, Thank You, for All for Your Help!!

ELIMINATION CHALLENGE - Preliminary Weigh In!

 

Preliminary Weigh In  

I would like to get everyone’s Preliminary weigh in ASAP!  This is NOT an official Weigh In and does not have to be exact!!  A ball park or your last weight check is fine!!   It will just help me set up teams more evenly.  I am HOPING to get that done this weekend....So HOPING I can get Most Everyone’s approximate weigh in As Soon As Possible!  However, since it’s last minute and you may not be expecting this – I will except them all week - BUT NO LATER than next Friday, February 22nd!  

 If I could get most or all today or tomorrow I’d be SO GRATEFUL!! 

I am trying to set up this “groups” page (which is NEW to me) and I actually have the time today and this weekend to work on it and I don’t know what next week will bring (except a crappy work week...and not much time).  So I Would LOVE to be able to work on putting teams together while I know I have the time and as soon as possible! 

Once I have the teams put together I can finish up the groups page and send out “invites” to everyone!  And hopefully you can get to know your teammates a little before we start!

Those of you that have done this challenge before - and those that haven't - I don't post weights for everyone to see as I know some would rather not share with the world. So on my chart I only show weight lost/gained and % of loss/gain. If you choose to keep your weight to yourself that is fine - your team leader and I are the only ones that actually Need to know each week!!

You are welcome to post your Prelim weight on this blog or message me direct!

NEW SPRING ELIMINATION CHALLENGE

ELIMINATION CHALLENGE!

New Start...MARCH 1 

 

I have not decided whether to make it an 11 or 13 week challenge so opinions are welcome!  11 weeks is, of course, my norm but 13 weeks brings it to the end of May and the start of Summer (or June) and Swimsuit, Summer Clothes time!  BUT that will make this a longer challenge

And PLEASE post here any team requests or people you would like to be placed with!  Even if you have already posted those requests I would appreciate if you could post here as well.  That gives me just one place I have to look for those requests!  And as Always I will do my best to accommodate!  I will 1st place people together as requested  and the team they wish to be on will be a secondary request as I will have to accomadate new people spread throughout teams .  _________________________________________________________

 

Of Course there will be some changes this time around though the gist will be similar,  all that is not finalized, I will continue to post details as it gets closer!I WILL be utilizing the “Groups” thing this time around (I have been reluctant to change but see some of the benefit from it as I’ve learned more on how to use it)  But will still utilize the Blog for some things!  Don’t worry I will have plenty of details on that as we come close to “start date”

Team Leader job: CRITICAL to helping me, keeping their team stay motivated, in support and in posting #’s and answering questions when possible!  Even if I end up keeping this smaller I would like to have 2 per team just to have backup if possible.

ELIMINATION CHALLENGE - FINAL RESULTS!!!!!!

AND THE WINNER IS...... 11 Week Elimination Challenge Final Stats!

First of all let me say YOU ARE ALL WINNERS And you Had Better Know It!!!!!!!  The ACCOMPISHMENTS You All Achieved Over the HOLIDAYS was Spectacular and an Absolute Inspiration to All of US!!!  Thank You All For Pushing so Hard and Showing Each Other and The Rest Of Us That It Can Be Done!!! 

EVEN those that didn’t see a huge weight loss throughout the challenge…lost weight and TONED up AND Lost Inches…WHICH ALL Counts towards your main goal of Looking and Feeling better and Getting Healthier!!  But MANY of you Actually DID SEE GREAT Weightloss Results over the Holidays...Just SO IMPRESSIVE!!________________________________________________

FOR WEEK 11 - – The Highest % of loss goes to Mailaig – who lost 2.6 lbs and 2.01% of loss for the week! OUTSTANDING NEW YEARS WEEK!  

And a Close 2nd Place for Week 11 was DEVLe with a 2 lb loss and a 1.16 % of loss for the week!  GREAT JOB!!!!!  ________________________________________________  

I am SO PROUD of ALL of you guys for doing so well! Your Achievements over the last 11 weeks were Really Awesome! I know I keep saying this – but it is REALLY TRUE – To Actually LOSE weight in a Holiday Challenge when most people gain over the holidays....I don’t think you can be Any Prouder of Your Successes!!!  

And I Personally Thank You For Your inspiration!

EVERY ONE of you had AWESOME Weight loss and/or Accompishments!!! – Big Or Small…Be Proud of Your #’s BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE OUNCE and INCH is a VICTORY and HARD EARNED and a Step in the Right Direction!! ______________________________________

FINAL WEEK - ELIMINATION CHALLENGE

11 WEEK ELIMINATION CHALLENGE – WELCOME TO YOUR FINAL WEEK 11!

1st -  I hope you ALL had a Very Merry Christmas!  I hope everyone was blessed to be surrounded with family and friends and loved ones and just got to enjoy the blessings you have in your lives over the holidays.   I also hope the weather hasn’t affected too many of you over the holidays!  Yet again, the East Coast is getting hammered!  I’m sure all our thoughts are with any of you that are having to go through MORE weather!!  Please BE SAFE!!

2nd – I would REALLY Like to express my sincere thanks to ALL of you that posted your comments on the Main Blog for others to read!  Some of you really did put your hearts out there for everyone to read and I KNOW that couldn’t have been easy for many of you!  But it was NOT ONLY inspirational and let us all understand HOW it’s possible to keep going and trying to be healthier given almost Any circumstance but Also let us “know” you better and be able to be even more supportive....Some of you have truly been through so much and some of us just have had rocky hurdles to get over – but no matter What the circumstances...we ALL have issues and hurdles that we NEED to Feel Support to get through!  And to help us get back on track!  I hope that the people you’ve gotten to know here have truly Been A Help And Inspiration To Each And Every One of You to Keep You Going STRONG!!______________________________________________________

 

Well Everyone who made it this far...BE SO PROUD of yourselves!  This was a tough week to go through And a TOUGH time for a Challenge over the Holidays!  Just Making it Through Christmas week – And Sticking With this Challenge is a HUGE Victory!!  Congratulations To You ALL!!!________________________________________________________
As I said last week – my mushy heart just couldn’t eliminate any of you fabulous people 3 days before Christmas so this was going to be a big elimination week of 9 going into the FINAL week - There was supposed to be just 10 going into the Final week, however it looks like my calculations were off somewhere – so I stuck to my word of 9 eliminations – so there will now be 11 going into the Final Week!  The cutoff of the 10th person was just too close so I kept them in for an 11th person!
ALL 20 people and any of the LAST AWESOME few that are still participating May still shoot for Points this Week and WILL Be Counted in the Points Side!
ALL parts of the challenge will go up on the MAIN Blog This week for ANYONE who chooses to participate.  The Challenge, however, will be minor this week  – at this point it is really Up To You!  And Because of that there will be NO 3 points given for “finishing the challenge” this week.  Points can only be earned by the “regular” stuff each day – ie: situps, workout, water, sodium AND positive comment!

Honestly – though I shouldn’t be surprised...Just a Loss at All during Christmas Week is Something to CHEER!!  And MANY of you had a loss this week!   
REALLY....Just WOW is all I can say!!And just and fyi – the Eliminations this week were BRUTAL – SOOOO many of you did SO Great!!  It came down to total completion of the challenge – but, yes, I did have to Also go to the % of loss for the week –so there were a few eliminated due to weight.  IF there was a gain this week with a significant loss OVERALL in the challenge then you may have been saved this week.  But if there was a slight gain or a zero loss and your overall loss wasn’t as high then you might have been eliminated...AGAIN BRUTAL Week cuz you All did SO Incredibly Well last week AND throughout the Challenge!

ELIMINATION CHALLENGE WEEK 10

WELCOME TO WEEK 10 (Christmas Week!)______________________________________________________
HOLY COW!  You guys are in Week 10!!  I am Just SO PROUD of all of you that stuck with this and made it this far!!!....Sooooo I know you guys signed up for an Elimination Challenge and mostly, by perseverance and sheer WILL, those of you that have made it this far have Been Very Successful in sticking with it and kicking butt...
...not giving up over the holidays and when you might normally enjoy your family, sit around and just eat...You might be doing some of the above...but you sure AREN’T SITTING AROUND!  You Are Moving Big Time!!!  
Though the Nature of this challenge is for me to Eliminate each week – because of the holiday stresses I have not had to do that much this time around as people have felt they had to drop out as there was too much pulling on them....
Andddd Given my soooo kind heart ;-P  I JUST Can’t Bring Myself to Eliminate 3 days before Christmas, anyone who finished the challenge this week....  Hopefully that doesn’t upset anyone but I just couldn’t do it to all you hard workers...

That Leaves 19 Amazing People left in the Main Challenge...and I believe only 2 Awesome Eliminated people still in this, kicking butt and going for points!!! (since it’s so close to the final week – I’m not going to be combining teams so they’re a little lopsided but I’ll keep it fair) – but next week it’s every man/woman for himself anyway) 
 This Week - The  #1 Personal Weightloss % Goes to... mailaig....beloved Wolverine!  With a hard earned and well deserved 2.24% of loss!!  WOW!!  Amazing Work!!!!  Which earns her 3 pts and everyone on the Wolverines an extra point!  Yea!!!
And the  2nd highest weightloss this week....ALSO  a GREAT JOB...scythswife from the Tigers/Geckos with a 1.42% of loss!!  
It is SO hard to lose at all this time of year...but throwing #’s up like that?!  Sooooo it IS Possible!!!!!  WOW...
AND for the Big Side Challenge....Some Pretty Good Burns went up this week!!
But ultimately the highest % over the required team # went to the Wolverines with a 3.76 over!!  And That, I must mention was Huge as 2 of there people didn’t fulfill their personal requirements – so the remaining people on the team KILLED The Week to Achieve that!!
All Teams should be proud of how well they did!!!  ....with the Dolphins a little behind with a 3.01% over....the Tigers with a 1.86% over and the Sharks were Just under with a .99%....YOU GUYS ARE REALLY BUSTING IT OUT THERE!!

Part #1  - WORKOUTS – Each Person Must Workout for 3 / 45 Minute Workouts this week (NOT INCLUDING Christmas Day which is in Part #2!

Because of all that I know many of you have going on – you CAN split the 45 minutes up into No More than 2 workouts in a day....or get it all in at once.

Part #2 - In ADDITION – You MUST Do Some Form of Exercise on CHRISTMAS for around 30 minutes – I’m NOT going to worry about a few minutes give or take

BUT you MUST give it a try...Get Creative!!  ***get in a workout before the festivities start OR **** PICK An ACTIVE Game to Play with your family!...wii or Kinnect or ball out in the yard OR **** take a walk with some of your family!  ENCORPORATE them into being active WITH you if that works for you!  But Get Something in Before or After All That Fun and Food!!!

Each Person MUST Burn 1300 Calories Minimum during the week!

I am NOT being tough on you this week...because you all have a lot going on...last minute stuff...etc...

BUT REMEMBER – 9 people WILL be eliminated at the end of this week!  So YOU Need to PUSH YOURSELVES to do what you can...and what you are able...just don’t give up but don’t get carried away!  Your Family is just as important as your health!  So Take Care of Them AND You!

INCREASE Your Plank time from last week by 2-5 seconds – Preferably 5 but I know this is REALLY a tough one for some. 

For Your Reps this week....You Are to do:    5 of those for your “NEW” MAX Time 4 of 5 days – And yes you can still Spread them however you would like or need to throughout a day and can use Friday morning!  

           Part 2 – You Must Do 500 Reps of Any Kind You would like during the rest of the week – but MUST do AT LEAST 25 at a time of any 1 thing

Part #1 –  For lack of a better word...pick you penance or punishment this week – Pick something you Hate Or is Really Hard for you (like chair lifts, pushups, squats, More Planks)  20 Minimum but you be your own judge there....

Something that will make you think twice about eating that extra piece of candy or getting that second helping or piling on the desserts....

Every time you have a slip up or make a less than great food decision - you must do your penance! –

ie: - Sayyyy Mine is weighted lunges (20)....I ate 2 pieces of candy instead of just 1 – Ugggg Now I Know I’ve got to do 20 of those Darn Lunges!!  Might make me think twice about doing it again!! 

Report to your team page What Yours is...Then keep track of HOW Many Times you had to do those dreaded (insert yours here) mine...Weighted Lunges during the week!  AND HOW Many Times You Opted Differently Because of the THOUGHT of having to do the punishment exercise!

AGAIN...WEEK 8 Was a Huge Success For Most of You!  And I’m NOT just talking about the “scale” weigh in!  You Guys Persevered!  And Made it through, yet another, week!!  BE PROUD OF THAT!!  This Is a Tough Challenge by most peoples accounts and during the Holidays Even Tougher!  IF You’re Still Here!....You Are Rocking The Holiday Season!!! __________________________________________________ 
This weeks eliminations were comprised again of some drops and some incompletes ...but remember – even IF you have an off week you Can still continue to HELP your TEAM AND Win Weeks in weightloss AND accumulate points if you choose to continue on with your team!!!!      Even if you have an off week...you Still Can Bounce Back and Stick it Out!!

Which Everyone Deserves JUST Sticking With This During These Tough Weeks!! 
We Are ALL WINNERS for Continuing to KILL The Workouts During  THIS TIME OF YEAR!!  Roughly 8-10 Will Go into The Final Week to Compete for the top FIVE!!!

She is also QUITE the INSPIRATION to Pushing Her Team to be just as Amazing as they came in 2nd and 3rd!

As the Dolphins had the 2 highest % of loss and the Wolverines had the highest stairs with a bunch of bonus points - and most teams had everyone complete the week - with some minor infractions - I'm going to concede this week for #1 Team and extra points as all teams did great and there really wasn't a clear winner.  Since the "safe team" rules haven't applied yet this time around with the excessive drops - its been subjective each week anyway -  so that was my call this week.

#1  - WORKOUTS – Keeping this simple and similar...probably throughout the rest of the challenge with holiday stresses...trying not to add too much more to your plate!

HOWEVER – the last of you keep KILLING my challenges....making me look “soft”...sooooo

 Each Person MUST Burn 1400 Calories Minimum during the week!

Again you must again have a minimum of 3 / 30 minute workouts to achieve your 1400 Calorie Burn! 

Obviously you  will need to do more somewhere to hit the 1400 – but that’s under your discretion – I just want a minimum of 3 days from you!

And again, we have some Elim People participating this week that I know of – Their #’s WILL be counted in the Team #’s AND their Weights WILL be considered at the end of the week in team #’s AND the “highest % of loss” person!! – IF I have counted eliminated people and they decide to drop please let me know and I will adjust totals!

The 20 Minutes Needs to be done IN ONE DAY’s TIME!  If you choose to do it more than once or for over 20 minutes – it can THEN be posted towards your regular calorie burn (ONLY AFTER YOU’VE ACHIEVED the 20 Min Minimum!!!)___________________________________________________________________

#2 REPS – I did Warn You PLANKS would be playing into this challenge at some point this time!  It IS an extraordinary exercise for your Core!!!

11 WEEK ELIMINATION CHALLENGE – WELCOME TO WEEK 8

OMG!!! Just when I think I’ve pushed you guys to the MAX you Keep Proving Me Wrong!!!!  Showing Me You Can do More Than, Even You, Thought Possible!!!  You Guys Were Born To SUCCEED!!!   
Putting up the pretty regular workout was fine and you guys did great at it as always...but In ADDITION to that...I was AMAZED at how MANY miles MOST of you put up!  And I’m not talking about the mega awesome Overachievers (who clearly ROCK!) – But Most EVERYONE Really did go out of their way to Walk Those EXTRA MILES and KILLED IT!!!!  Just KILLED IT!! 
Figure... OVER AND ABOVE your Workout...You kept Going!....Doing More!....Like little energizer bunnies...All Of You!!  ;-)
(I Do want to apologize here real quick to a couple people – who got my post when it was already into their Friday – as I didn’t really think about the miles section when I put up the challenge and how it would hinder fairness with Friday #’s.  So there are a few of you who may have gotten that clarification too late – and I am sorry But it wouldn’t really be fair to have someone a day ahead have a 24 hr jump on people that can only get in a couple hours before my time zone expiration...However, I should have thought of that ahead of time and posted it!....on the upside – you may not have gotten the miles counted for the challenge....BUT in the “real world” of your journey....OHHH THEY COUNTED!!)____________________________________________________________________________________________
This weeks eliminations were comprised of some drops and some incompletes again...but remember – even IF you have an off week you Can still continue to HELP your TEAM AND Win Weeks in weightloss AND accumulate points if you choose to continue on with your team!!!!    
There are still a Few of Us SOOOO DEDICATED Eliminated people sticking with this and our team!!  PROPS TO US ;-)  I’m hoping in the coming weeks some of you do the same!  Even if you have an off week...you Still Can Bounce Back and Stick it Out!!Eliminated People This Week were:

Since this whole “Safe Team” concept isn’t seeming to be an issue yet we’ll keep sticking with # 1 Team for the week -  Sooooo The #1 TEAM This week...Goes to the ONLY Team that had Every Active Person Complete the Majority of the Challenge AND KILLED The Totals This Week...The DOLPHINS Win WEEK 7!!!  WooHoo!!! Sooo Each ACTIVE Person on the team gets “2” Bonus Points!!  AWESOME JOB DOLPHINS!!!  ___________________________________________________
AND The  #1 Personal Weightloss % Goes to...”50kgtoofat” with a 1.62% of Loss this week!   NICE JOB!!  Keep Up The Amazing Progress!!... And she has earned 3 Bonus points AND Earned the rest of her teammates and extra 1!  GREAT JOB!!  
I would also like to mention the 2nd highest weightloss this week was RIGHT behind her for a loss of 1.6% - Her teammate “mailaig”!  Another GREAT JOB!!!______________________________________________
Annnnnd Now we Come to the Bonus Points for the Miles....I’m sure many of you have seen the winner of that by now on the chart....but that would go to the Fabulous “usernamekelly”...with an Astonishing 85.6 Miles!!! 
Had that come in from anyone else – I’m not sure I would have believed it!  But she’s been with my challenges for many moons and Knows How To Kick “a$$” and always has!!  So Much Congrats to an Incredible Effort!!!   
That earns her 10 Bonus Points!  And each of her teammates (who many of ALSO Put Up an Unbelievable amount of Miles!) an extra 2 pts each!!

WEEK 8 CHALLENGE:

#1 – WORKOUT....Combo of STAIRS And Workouts.....TOTALLY SEPARATE!!!!!

Part #1  - WORKOUTS – Keeping this simple and similar to last week.

Each Person MUST Burn 1300 Calories Minimum during the week – which is TOTALLY SEPARATE from the STAIRS Portion Below (part #2)  -

Calories Only Count from Workout Form – (not every day activity) and, as I’m trying to not throw too much structure out during the tough holiday season – you must just have a minimum of 3 / 30 minute workouts to achieve your 1300 Calorie Burn! 

Obviously you  will need to do more somewhere to hit the 1300 – but that’s under your discretion – I just want a minimum of 3 days from you!

TEAM #’s To Follow!And again, we have some Elim People participating this week that I know of – Their #’s WILL be counted in the Team #’s AND their Weights WILL be considered at the end of the week in team #’s AND the “highest % of loss” person!! – IF I have counted eliminated people and they decide to drop please let me know and I will adjust totals!

PART

#2 - STAIRS

I Kinda liked how last week played out with everyone pushing so hard for the Bonus....sooo this week.....“UP” STAIRS – This will again be voluntary - with NO Minimum for the challenge purpose!...

Every stair you go “UP” counts as “1”.....”DOWN” Does Not Count!!! – YOU MUST DO AT LEAST 20 Consecutively to be Counted!!!  So walking up your 3 entrance stairs to get into your house does NOT count – but go up and down 7 times consecutively....with the Purpose of getting extra “stairs” in....Counts!...and for an example – the above would count as “21”!

HOPEFULLY most of you can find access to stairs....be it – at home, at work, at the mall, in front of a nearby building, in a building, in the gym, on a stair machine...etc....If you don’t get out much and don’t have stairs and want to do this -  then makeshift a stair with a crate or something sturdy at home.

TAKE the STAIRS instead of the elevator or escalator...This is....as always...just a ploy to try and get you all in the habit of choosing the option that involves exercise AND to push you to Move Just A Little More than you normally would!!

THIS will, like last week, NOT be on the Chart until the end of the week (so everyone can’t know how their competition is doing...just push yourself to do more!)– your stairs will come in with your weigh in Next Friday!  YOU NEED TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR OWN STAIRS OR Post them on your team page if you want to not be as secretive ;-)

If you Choose to do the stairs – IT IS to be a conscious effort to Do more and you CANNOT Again Use ANY part of this towards your “workout” calories OR Workout Times!!  And this week it will NOT count towards your Workout Points or Your Rep Times Either!  AND THIS WILL RUN STRICTLY SUNDAY THRU THURSDAY – NO Friday Time Towards This! 

The Person With THE MOST STAIRS DONE at the end of the week GETS 10 EXTRA POINTS AND Earns Their ACTIVE Teammates an Extra 2 points EACH!!!!

#2 REPS – 45 MINUTES over the week – Leaving this exactly the same – just with new team totals

you can achieve this any way you would like – as the holidays get closer I’m going to try and back off of the daily specs as I know we are all more crunched for time!  For this week, go ahead and work ANY portion of your body you see fit!!  Where do YOU need the Most Work!!  Or just a well rounded....little bit of everything....!

This weeks - PERSONAL/FOOD CHALLENGE –

Part #1 – Was gonna do the veggies again...but probably will next week instead – want to address the Holidays right now more – as it is SUCH a tough time of year for most of us!  Between Stress, Time Constraints and FOOD EVERYWHERE....It can be a Brutal Set Back!!           

# 1 - Make up a Calendar of things you have going on this month...ESPECIALLY things that you know will involve food that you don’t have control over!  Then FOCUS on those days that you Don’t have anything going on – Find Ways that you can Do More on Those Days.  It IS the holidays... You WILL have some set backs...but lets work to minimize those as much as possible!  The Whole Month Doesn’t Have to Shut You Down!

Part #3 – Well now you’ve had 2 weeks to compliment others and SEE how it can help brighten someones day!  PLEASE Don’t stop doing that just because its not part of the challenge this week!! 

REQUIRED – This week is Not Just to post a “positive” on the main blog for points!  You MUST Still post your positive on the main blog IF you want the points BUT for the CHALLENGE this week – You MUST post An Additional Positive... MINI COMMENT/MANTRA on Your Team Blog ON SUNDAY or MONDAY and TELL Yourself it or Read It at LEAST TWICE A DAY through this week!!!  And Start to BELIEVE IT!!! 

It’s Very Easy to Discount compliments and continue to be negative with ourselves....If I have No other goal this time around – it would be for you All to start believing in your strengths!! 

-For this positive/Mantra – it should be simple – ie: I love my eyes or hair!,  I  Love the new definition I see in my arms,  I Love My New Found Dedication To Fitness,  I AM STRONG!!, I am Dedicated...etc....For the challenge purpose I would like you to post at least one and say it to yourself daily BUT FEEL FREE to post one Daily if you’d like!!!  And Say Them All To Yourself Daily!! 

You ALL Have SO MANY positive things about you....Now Look in the Mirror And Find Them and Believe Them!!!_______________________________________________________
