11 WEEK ELIMINATION CHALLENGE – WELCOME TO WEEK 9
AGAIN...WEEK 8 Was a Huge Success For Most of You! And I’m NOT just talking about the “scale” weigh in! You Guys Persevered! And Made it through, yet another, week!! BE PROUD OF THAT!! This Is a Tough Challenge by most peoples accounts and during the Holidays Even Tougher! IF You’re Still Here!....You Are Rocking The Holiday Season!!! __________________________________________________
This weeks eliminations were comprised again of some drops and some incompletes ...but remember – even IF you have an off week you Can still continue to HELP your TEAM AND Win Weeks in weightloss AND accumulate points if you choose to continue on with your team!!!! Even if you have an off week...you Still Can Bounce Back and Stick it Out!!
Eliminated People This Week were:
Dolphins - hypallage & bbbccp
Sharks - 247diva, kvonjohn & SkyClimbing
Count Down to 21 People left in the Main Challenge and with the 3 Dedicated Eliminated people so Far brings us to roughly 24 people still competing in the points side of the challenge (though more if any of this weeks eliminations stay in)....
And Just so you all know I have NOT nailed down the specifics on the points side winners! I think it will go something like...the Top 5 in the overall will be just that! The Top Awesome 5! And The Remaining people will be competing for the Points – so Everyone has a shot at some Glory!! Which Everyone Deserves JUST Sticking With This During These Tough Weeks!!
We Are ALL WINNERS for Continuing to KILL The Workouts During THIS TIME OF YEAR!! Roughly 8-10 Will Go into The Final Week to Compete for the top FIVE!!!
This Week - The #1 Personal Weightloss % Goes to...ohhhh wait for it....ME ;-) And I’ve NEVER placed at anytime in all my challenges...so just let me bask a moment........ a moment longer......ok....one moment longer..... ;-P I am hoping that means I’m on a roll....we’ll see!! But thanks to YOU guys I keep pushing on!! With a 1.9% loss this week (Thank God The Scale FINALLY had some movement!)
I would also like to mention the 2nd highest weightloss this week was RIGHT behind me and On My TEAM!! For an Amazing loss of 1.69% - ibmgirl! Awesome Job!!!

Annnnnd Now we Come to the Bonus Points for the Stairs....I’m sure many of you have seen the winners of that by now on the chart....but that would go AGAIN to the Fabulous “usernamekelly”...with an Astonishing Ohhh Myyy Goodness....13,778 Stairs!!! (add a Bonus of 10 Points!! ) And Again...That Woman Knows How To KILLLLLLL My Challenges!! No One Pushes Harder!! Which is Why She WON 2 challenges ago!! And continues to maintain around her goal weight!!!
She is also QUITE the INSPIRATION to Pushing Her Team to be just as Amazing as they came in 2nd and 3rd!

And AMAZING JOB EVERYONE who pushed those stairs this week!! There were some pretty good losses this week for many people!! And Some KILLER STAIRS DONE MY MANY OF YOU!!! And REALLY??!!! Around the holidays...ummmm BE PROUD!! When everyone around you is gaining...You Are Maintaining or Losing!! And Pushing Yourself HARD!!!
As the Dolphins had the 2 highest % of loss and the Wolverines had the highest stairs with a bunch of bonus points - and most teams had everyone complete the week - with some minor infractions - I'm going to concede this week for #1 Team and extra points as all teams did great and there really wasn't a clear winner. Since the "safe team" rules haven't applied yet this time around with the excessive drops - its been subjective each week anyway - so that was my call this week.

THE HIGHEST OVERALL “TEAM” WEIGHT LOSS EACH WEEK(where ever Active person completes and posts the vast majority of the challenge) EARNS 2 PTS for Every “ACTIVE” Person On Their Team!! “ OR IF there is Only 1 Team that has every member Complete the vast majority of the Main Challenge – That Trumps the overall team weightloss pts and they WIN the bonus pts for the week! Some weeks this may be a judgement call as to who wins the points – but I will ALWAYS try to be as fair as possible!
WEEK 9 CHALLENGE:
#1 – WORKOUT....Combo – Workout as always – AND Something New!!!!!Part
#1 - WORKOUTS – Keeping this simple and similar...probably throughout the rest of the challenge with holiday stresses...trying not to add too much more to your plate!
HOWEVER – the last of you keep KILLING my challenges....making me look “soft”...sooooo
Each Person MUST Burn 1400 Calories Minimum during the week!
Again you must again have a minimum of 3 / 30 minute workouts to achieve your 1400 Calorie Burn!
Obviously you will need to do more somewhere to hit the 1400 – but that’s under your discretion – I just want a minimum of 3 days from you!

And again, we have some Elim People participating this week that I know of – Their #’s WILL be counted in the Team #’s AND their Weights WILL be considered at the end of the week in team #’s AND the “highest % of loss” person!! – IF I have counted eliminated people and they decide to drop please let me know and I will adjust totals!

*****Ex: - Dolphins are required to hit 12,800 – if they hit 16,000 – they have hit 1.25% of the required total
Tigeckos – are require to hit 9,600 – if they hit 16,000 – they have hit 1.66% of the required total and would win!
BASICALLY Just Bust Your Butt To get in All the Calorie Burn you Can for Your Team to hit the Bonus %!!!!
There ARE Calorie Killers On Every Team! And There Are Those That Just Push More To Get Every Ounce They Can Out Of The Week!! This IS YOUR WEEK TO KILL IT FOR YOUR TEAM!!!!
This will be figured after the Friday deadline – so you really will have NO IDEA how your competition is doing until the end....
I WILL be “hiding” the TOTAL Calorie Column so no one knows how other teams are doing - Just keep pushing and posting and logging!
The week will play out how it does! I don’t want you worrying about the other teams – I want you competing with yourselves KNOWING your results WILL MATTER at the end of the Week!!
Just Do Your Personal Best!!! Do What You Can!!! And Be Proud of WHATEVER You Accomplish!!!
Please REMEMBER – YOUR “NEW” EXERCISE Does NOT Count Here.... (Does NOT Count In Your Calories AT ALL Until You hit that 20 Minute Minimum!!!) And NOTHING ELSE BELOW COUNTS EITHER! JUST YOUR MAIN WORKOUTS!!!! No Reps...No Situps...etc....
PART #2 – Something New....You have to do a minimum of 3 Days this week for the Part 1 burn –
For Part #2 - You NEED to ADD to that:
At Least 20 Minutes of Something NEW!!
It CAN be on a day with the rest of your workouts or an off day! It does NOT have to be something you’ve Never done before – but something you have NOT done in at least 6 months-ish. A new DVD, A New machine at the gym, a New Class, A New Wii Or Xbox Connect Game! Who knows you Might just find something you like!! Or something you haven’t done in awhile!
The 20 Minutes Needs to be done IN ONE DAY’s TIME! If you choose to do it more than once or for over 20 minutes – it can THEN be posted towards your regular calorie burn (ONLY AFTER YOU’VE ACHIEVED the 20 Min Minimum!!!)___________________________________________________________________
#2 REPS – I did Warn You PLANKS would be playing into this challenge at some point this time! It IS an extraordinary exercise for your Core!!!
And I ALSO WARNED those who Chose Planks for their HR....when I did Add Planks to the comp – it would be TOTALLY In Addition to anything in your HR Part of the challenge....sooooo this is THE WEEK FOR IT!!! Wooo Hoooo!!!
TOMORROW – SATURDAY (or latest Sunday morning) do ONE PLANK for As Long As You Can Hold It!! PUSH!!!

#4 This weeks - PERSONAL/FOOD CHALLENGE –
Part #1 – Eat 3 Servings of Fruits/Veggies EACH DAY!!! This will, not only be healthier for you – BUT MAY hopefully act as a filler Before some of your holiday parties!!! To keep you eating less “junk” And more of the good stuff!!!
Part #2 – Again....(its only getting harder as the holidays get closer!!!!)
POST on Your Team Blog – A Temptation Avoided!! OR Minimized!! SOMETHING you did that was Better than you would have before!! Bring a Veggie tray to the office party and eat more of that than the other stuff! EAT the good stuff but just have a bite or 2 instead of a BIG serving! Do a workout before or after a “party” day! Eat a salad before so you’re full going into the party to keep you eating less....Don’t eat the stuff you are baking....or just have ONE.....!
DON’T DEPRIVE yourself BUT TRY and Keep it In YOUR CONTROL!! I’m NOT asking you to CUT OUT anything here – just asking that you Find A Way to Minimize the Temptations of the Holidays! ______________________________________________________
