Putting one foot in front of the other

"One day at a time" keeps running through my head.

Yesterday Fitbit recorded 5,838 steps taken, 2.44 miles.  Logged my food and ran a lot of errands.

Today - trip to the gym, 10,000 steps on Fitbit and log my food.

Keeping it simple.  If it gets complicated it gets overwhelming!

One day at a time. That is all that is promised. One meal at a time. One trip to the gym to workout at a time. Why NOT keep it simple. Well said. Complicated is OVERWHELMING!

So glad to see this post, great reminder! I keep reminding myself one pound at a time, trying not to project. When I plan my "future pounds lost", I am usually disappointed. Keep it in the day. Thanks for your post.

Thank you for reminding me to keep it simple and not project out. For some reason the premise gets lost in all the chatter going on in my head, and someone like you comes along and with one simple statements grounds me yet again. Hugs an d thank you again I needed that today. God/or your higher power
(what ever your understanding of him is) really does give me what I need when I am ready to receive it.

Needed to read this today. I'm a newbie here and it's only been 6 days since I started this and I'm already going, when is this weight going to come off? I'm so impatient so I'll be singing this tune in my head all day today to remind me to take it One Day and One Lb at a time.
